Not had a chance to listen to any of the other mixes yet, i'm going to get them all at once after I submit mine (if that ever happens)..

There's quite a few good ones on Sasha's GU013 (probably about the most obvious recommendation you can get).

You might want to check that out, plus other tracks from the artists, and on the featured labels. Early Platipus releases,

At least, that's how I went along for my mix, there were one or two artists and compilations I remembered, then a lot of discogs, last.fm and random listening..

There's bound to be some people on here with better recommendations, though.

Just gotta put some finishing touches on my tribal mix, I should have it tomorrow... IMO it came out fairly decently, although it drags a bit towards the beginning and a few of the mixes didn't go as well as I would've liked. Ahhh well!
wotyzoid
working on it, be patient for the tranzz please. :o

Yea I've got a few tracks for mine but only know for sure the first two tracks that I will use to start the mix with. Planning to get more owrk on it done this weekend though. I realized how I really don't like the genre I got, but am still eager to create the mix.

M.I.K.E. aliases and Bonzai sub-labels. There's tons of good tracks (for the genre) there.
Mr Game+Watch
Finished my mix! It has a few minor screwups and EQ issues, and tends to drag at the beginning, but then again I think that's more of a 'feature' of this style of music. I was very much inspired by the prog/tribal sound of '02-'03 while compiling and recording this. Comments appreciated!

Hell yeah! Agreed to all above. I'll make a mix of CanDance sound (Canadian Dance) in the future. Canadian eurodance sound is immortalized. :eyes: :eyes: :tongue2

EDIT: That eurodance mix of yours, Tony, is my favourite mix of yours by far. Brings back many memories, and has some of my favourites. Great work!

Uploading mine now and it's taking foreverrrrr.

Mr Game+Watch, your mix was good, no mixing flaws apart from one wher the mix felt unfinished. programming was a bit off but it sorted itself out, the main problem was that the first couple of tunes felt disjointed but after future, the route was quite clear. ye.

Decided to dl the mix considering my mood and genre.

However, there was a very nice tribalish track in a prog house mix I downloaded recently, so a cross between prog and tribal seems to be just what I'm looking for. Will comment soon.

Wasn't too sure about first track, but after that there was plenty of tunage. Probably would've prefered something a bit more full and less minimal sounding (there weren't any giant funky congos :() but thats just preference.
