And reason why we have synagogs everywhere is because on cetain days we cant use car because we consider it something bad to do on that days.. so we have to walk to closest synagog, thats why there are so many synagogs and jewish centre everywhere.

No, he was referring to the fact that those with money and in monetary occupations (banking etc) are usually abhorred during recessions. This pattern has been seen several times with Jews, who are, as we all know, often in such positions. This was due to the fact that they weren't allowed to hold any other jobs in many countries.

While I agree it was formerly this way, it is no longer. Jews are in every facet of every western economy. So not really applicable here. Just like in Germany, Russia, France, the UK, etc, it is being targeted at immigrants or migrant workers, which are of foreign birth.
