Nobody deserves to get raped, of course, but you have to be very stupid or very naive if you don't think the way you dress sends a particular message to people. Women need to hold themselves to a higher standard of accountability when they put on skank clothes. Chicks who play the "Teehee, I had no idea this outfit makes me look like a sex object!" card must be missing a few brain cells. Besides, doing anything "sexy" is a lot more appealing when one can own that behaviour - like an adult. The whole girlish oblivious slut thing is more than juvenile.

Ill never forget this one incident.
Back in the day i was flyering for Industry at York University and this girl walks by in a tube bra and shorts and thats it. She was virtually exposed at SCHOOL! (maybe today this is normal but pre mainstream hip hop it wasnt LOL). Anyways i said to my friend "that girl is screaming for the wrong attention". So this rather large girl with short hair overhears and spins around and proceeds to yell at me.
"why cant she dress like that if that makes her comfortable? How can you say shes just looking for attention? Why do males always objectify women? You are really sexist"
So i laughed and said "you must be joking..... what if i walked down the street in my underwear? Same thing isnt it?"
She says "No it isnt"
"why?"
"because u are a male"
So i said... "and you call me sexist????"
She just walks away LOL!!
I have to say... there are certain things wrong with our society when:
-girls think they can dress certain ways without eliciting a certain response from men. Its one thing to dress tactfully and still be catcalled. But to walk around in an outfit that would make a hooker look conservative is just asking for trouble. Now, if you like trouble thats fine. But dont complain that 50 guys honked, hollered and said nasty things to you in one afternoon.
-the age of consent is 16 and you have 14 year olds slutting themselves up to look like a 20 year old prostitute. Its a paradox. So as a guy im looking at this girl thinking shes in her 20s going "wow" only to figure out (usually when u get closer)that shes 14 or 15. Thats just wrong. Not only do you feel dirty but i would also say that this is a mild form of fraud!!!
Im all for sexy clothes and hot women. But time and place number one. And second, expect certain results from certain looks. Otherwise put on a pair of jeans and a tshirt and STFU!!!

PS: if u dont want to bang a guy on NYE dont invite him back to your hotel when everyone is stupidly drunk and people arent thinking straight to begin with. If this actually happened the way they say it did there is no excuse for what these guys did. However one must cite the girls for being partially culpable by putting themselves in this position in the first place. No different than going down a dark ally at night and asking "uhhhhh why did i get robbed?" |

agreed but having said that... if women want that kind of attention, and some do, im not one to judge. Just dont complain about it. |

sweets, people should be free to dres up or down as much they want
and whoever thinks that cos a girl is wearing revealing dress or a top or whatever deserves being rapped by 5 whackos (or whatever happened there) is just wrong. as simple as that
therefore Liam's point is not a good point.
just because a girl is wearing revealing clothes doesn't mean she sleeps around like a slut - I'm pretty sure 90% of the so-called "sluts", go out, have fun, get drunk and stagger home without getting any. |
