well asian technically includes the indian subcontinent and Russia as well...so it's absolutely wrong of them to use such a term for a news report. street lingo MUST stay out of reports....
then again, you only hear the term "brown" here in Canada to describe arabs, indians and so on...:rolleyes: |

It's accepted locally here. Desi's always call themselves brown here. We have a massive population here that are cool and cool with that. |

i dunno... i dont see a problem with it at all. if our community understands what they are talking about then who cares?
technically, "brown" people fall in to the category of "black" when it comes to skin pigmentation but if they said they are looking for "black males" then everyone would automatically assume afro-canadians. |

I heard on the radio that they were invited to the hotel..which obviously makes sense...the police are reporting it as if the girls were followed...
If they were at least a little more transparent with how the events transpired, it may actually send a message to other ladies out there who accept invitations for such after parties.
