Depends, if they actually manage to plug the hole, get stung with the clean-up bill AND survive- their shares will be rock bottom, dividends will be cut and it might be an interesting time to speculate. Don't really think they'll go 'pop', more than likely be bought out by someone else, bit like what happened to Union Carbide after Bhopal. |
agreed.
notice the 10 + percent gain yesterday? Still think you can take a nice hedge position if your big on oil by shorting them. An expensive dividend to pay back though. |

the drill hit a pocket of natural gas that shot the shaft pressure up to 600,000 PSI, right before it exploded and likely vaporized all of the crew-men up there.
the guy who escaped said that there are only four rigs in the world (five including that one) that are capable of drilling that deep and that, because of the depth, it's going to be close to impossible to put a cap on it..!;)

| I was listening to Democracy Now! yesterday and this geologist said the well could spill oil into the Gulf for 20-30 years if it is not capped by humans. :wtf: :eyes: :eyes: |

Oil remove shred and tear radiation vapor
It's the fear so unclear man in motion going nowhere
In our homes stuck in the face spread the word to the populace
Yellow journal yellow journal set the pace feel the rage
Manifestations of a sort so insidious off the point
Simple solution never confusion sport a gun kill a cop
Crazy world of weary thought so receive me had enough
Lock me up
Lock me up
Rot and assimilate
So hot to annihilate
Deviation tonic mess prolonged existence innocence
Is he who speaks isn't weak wheelchair virtue so to speak
Bubonic plague the truth of aids immunity avoid decay
In the trench of pestilence the bible screams announce your faith
Mutterings of death to bring suffocate a newborn thing
Degradation of an age venereal it's all sensation
Protect design the moral plan infallible as propaganda
Completely black with no steps back
Hot to assimilate
We'll rot or annihilate
Agony profusely stains the inner thinking of the brain
Accusations clanking chains experiments with the groans of pain
All prefer no one blames the terror in an animal's screams
In cages our future - the answers insane

Read this
http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2010...on-beneath.html
then this
http://www.opednews.com/articles/B-...100611-452.html
if what that person has to say in the last article is true; this is the grand duke of all storms. . . it makes me wonder why BP isn't allowing scientist to now test how old the oil actually is
now this all makes ing perfect god damn sense why BP doesn't allow the scientific community in on testing oil samples coming from the well. THEY KNOW ING GOD DAMN WELL WHAT THE IS GOING ON. . . That last article says it all; and it comes from a geo-scientist who knows his . |

that better not reach the EU, they need to build a mothering wall of china before it reaches spain & ruins the beaches and underwater creatures. |
Chances are that is gonna reach that far if you ask me;
As for the Gulf of Mexico; FUCT COMPLETELY
So this is what I am putting together;
Scientist are not allow to sample the oil
http://www.propublica.org/ion/blog/...g-underwater-pl
These samples are needed to date and catalogue new oil vs old oil;
find more info about that above in two links I posted
if it is new oil being dated; this will go on all summer |
