things were better 5 years ago. i was assuming things were even better 10 years ago. that's another generation. i am guessing scene is totally different now.

I will agree that they should be 18+. But I don't know why you really think things were better 5 or 10 years ago. I remember massives in 99, 01, 02 were the entire dance floor was clogged with etards laying on the ground rubbing each other. One time at NOS I got there early and was up front in the trance hanger and when I turned around to leave, the entire hanger was full of people laying on the ground in puddles. Took an hour to try to get out of there. At the end I was just walking on people. I use to see people with signs selling drugs wtf. You don't see that any more.

Yep, with Greg there. E-puddles used to be an epidemic. Remember at 2003 MM and TAO that year there would be groups of 30-50 people all over the Arena floor. MM and TAO wasn't even that busy those two times. Arena was probably half full for MM, but half of those people were probably sitting in groups getting lightshow.

It was pretty disturbing.

I would say we started seeing less and less puddles beginning in 2004.

Eh. i'm I'm not gonna hate on e puddles and lightshows at raves having partaken in both more than once. I understand why you don't necessarily want them especially at these enormous LA cash cow massives which need to maintain an "imgage", but I think as they've gone away the raves have gotten less plurry.

I dunno, I figure if there's space for them why not let them do it? "It's disturbing" is a pretty bad reason imo. Those kids are having a great time. Let em do their thing and just look the other way. :P
DJ RANN
that. I'm not some rave nazi and have partaken in some extreme partying in my time but IMO, there is no place for e-puddles (or even washers) at organised events.

Keep that to your house parties, thanks. I don't want to see a bunch of unicorn worshipping plurtards rubbing each other in a candy mess on the dance floor. Go to the ing chillout area or keep it your own parties if you have to be that much of a twatpack.

It's bad from a event point of view because it encourages over drug use and inhibits other less ed people to enjoy the night and use the dancefloor (remember it's called a DANCE FLOOR not a clusterPuddle).

yes, it's disturbing when there are 30-50 15-17 year olds cracked out piled up together on the floor getting lightshows. With multiple groups like this. How the is that not disturbing?

And I have seen plenty of e-puddles that were right in the way. You had to find little one lane breaks in them to get across. Itw as ing annoying. I'm not even considering the image of the event.

they're at fault for not checking her ID to make sure she was 18, but other than that IDK, I'd blame the government for teaching DARE and not teaching harm reduction/prevention ( reagan)

this is america though, and someone always has to pay. money, money, money.

before her death..events were supposedly 16+..how the does one check the ID of a 16 year old? not everyone has DL's or State issued IDs..

didnt complete control get lost at this event (edc 2010) by the security CSC the city requires them to hire allowing people to get in without tickets or ID checks. I know it got lost in the stadium but I heard mayhem ensued outside the stadium at the entrance gates eventually causing the city to tell people to turn away. I was not there but how do we know fault does not lie within the city itself for requiring CSC for security who obviously do not know how to secure anything.

does CA have state issued ID's (non DL). If so, the burden is on the patron to obtain one for events that need proof of ID
