I hope you were all paying close attention, because the demon just used a most classic bait and switch technique; She set up a demagogic duplicate of herself - a straw-woman of moral ambivalence and faltering verisimilitude while she donned another of her masks and slipped quietly into the bushes to witness her hapless prey fall for the guilt-inducing simulacrum. "Cold-hearted" barely begins to describe the scant few litres of icy vitality stiffly coursing beneath her scaled plating, pressed seamlessly against the wet grass of duplicitous expedience that secures her every, slithery escape. She is a creature of endless lies, the very embodiment of sin and the reptilian essence that consumes even the most potent of Men in only their weakest hours. She is a veritable Delilah; a perfect Eve; she is Judith beheading Holofernes, and the corrupt bride to Adam, a predecessor prefect who identifies with the childkiller moniker of the original sin's executor. She is Salome and we are John the Baptist's rotting head upon a platter- her rituals and pagan gyrations luring the infirm to her insatiable embrace.
She's a gnarly little sheila, that one! |

Haha... you nicely pointed out her bait and switch attempt. Bravo to your writing style btw.
So yeah, the irony of it all is that she routinely does what you just mentioned, and loves to play the victim, all the while being a "feminist"; you saw the 2 examples I pointed out of her, as a minority, unnecessarily injecting racial injustice into the discussion. She won't give me a strait answer on it, but I fail to see the point of me providing "examples" of the type of woman I was describing when she wouldn't personally know them anyway. Which is why, like I said at the end of my last posting, me thinks the lady doth protest too much. |

Even if we take for granted the questionable idea that being competitive and career-focused drains a woman of her "nurturing" qualities, one possible response is simply, "Who cares?" This whole line of thought is dependent on the cultural reflex of measuring a woman's worth primarily by her mothering ability.
But not every girl needs to grow up to be a mommy. We should be past assuming that by now. |

And not every boy needs to grow up and become a provider, either. It should be perfectly acceptable for him to live with his parents forever, if that is his lifestyle choice. I don't want to hear any contention, you bigots! |

That rather depends on what his parents have to say about it. :p |

I haven't read the entire thread, since it's just to much information, but in my opinion, the only difference between men and women is the what kind of junk we've got between our legs. There's pretty much nothing else our genes can tell us about our difference. |

Theresa, you fail to grasp the concept that just because a woman wants equality, that doesn't mean she's a feminist. You seem to think 99.9% of women are feminists because that's the ideology that's right.
That may have originally been the point, but it isn't any more. |
I suppose it really depends on how you define feminism and what qualifies a feminist.
In my opinion, a feminist is anyone who wants and will fight for equality. This, to me, can be either a male or a female. From my experience, most feminists are not extreme as you suggest... but you probably don't notice them because they aren't bringing attention to themselves. |

What do you think a feminist is? All a feminist is is someone who wants equal rights for women. |
