i started making electronic music about a year 1/2 ago. never when i started did i have the aspiration to get signed, or make any kind of career out of it - even though i realize if i truly desired to, i could do so. why? because i know it's all futile.
i believe planet earth is nearing the end of the age, and that horrible cataclysms will transpire soon. and when i say soon, i mean it could all go down right now. forget about 2012. humanity is standing on the brink of destruction right now. nuclear war in particular, involving iran, israel, u.s., russia, etc. is looking ever more imminent.
the name i make music under is "sixth seal". it's derived from the sixth seal of revelation. ever since i became convinced of these looming, "end of the world as we know it" events, it has consumed my mind. it has changed me, and rightfully so. when noah was warned of the flood to come, he did not live the same before he obtained the information. rather, he was changed and thought and lived differently.
we all have our distractions. for most on this forum, it is music. for others it is movies, television, sports, etc. indeed, it's usually a combination of many of these. we are all guilty, even myself. i would be a hypocrite to accuse someone of being "distracted", when i myself struggle with it.
plain and simply, most people on this planet are living in ignorant bliss. they are deluded and distracted by the elaborate and ensnaring matrix that is this world, and completely ignorant of the genuine reality.
i submit to you, trance addict forum, that time is short and that all of the fantastic songs you've made and put loads of work into, will, in an instant, be remembered no more. they will not matter. the amount of money you've spent on production software, songs, albums, etc will mean nothing when you're either dead, or find yourself instantly plunged into chaos and suffering. the only thing that matters is which side of the spiritual spectrum you stand on.
yes, i am talking about christianity - but not the christianity you see on television or which is portrayed by the popular media. i am talking about the one jesus promoted while he was on this planet 2,000 years ago. it is a spiritual thing, not religious. religion is man-made and therefore imperfect. the only way to god is genuine spirituality - an inward thing and not just an outward.
so i am going to ask you a question, reader, and let your conscience decide: are you on good terms with the king of this universe, jesus christ? or are you an enemy of his? many of you know, deep down, that you are an enemy of god. you feel it inside you. you fear judgment. you fear the prospect and possibility of wrath. you most likely probably fear dying. therefore you try to convince yourself that 1) jesus never existed 2) if jesus existed, he was not the son of god 3) god does not exist 4) "i'm a good person, so if there is a god and heaven, i'm in" 5) "there will be no cataclysms in the near future; life will go on as normal, uninterrupted until the day i die", and so on and so on... whatever you choose to delude your mind with so you can live more comfortably, it will not last.
some of you will dismiss these words perhaps as if they come from the mouth of a raging lunatic or madman. many may not even read much of this post before saying something which only portrays their lack of patience and inability to consider others' words properly. others might recognize and accept the possibility that life as we know it could change very soon. heck, some may probably be strong supporters that time is short, for there are many who have, through research/etc, observed the signs and have awakened to this reality.
(and some of you are probably genuine christians. for those who are truly christians - not just professors, but have had a genuine change of heart and mind - please consider my words as if they are the words of god himself, speaking to you through me.)
again, i am not a religious person. perhaps you have made the mistake of judging me and labeling me as one. but i am not. i am not perfect, by any means, either. in fact i am probably more unworthy of god's grace than all of you. yet that is precisely the point: jesus was slaughtered 2,000 ago so that screw-ups like myself can have the hope of eternal life.
so will you accept the free gift of salvation offered by jesus christ? or will you, in your pride and ego, reject it, telling yourself you don't need it?
time is short, and the clock is running out, whether you believe it or not. the above question needs to be answered by you, and soon.
