| Another night with capacity control. This time both entries to the main room were closed, left one entry only, right one exit only. As soon as the main room reached capacity, noone was allowed in and everyone was sent upstairs or to the Honey room. Also, no entry-exit was allowed from the side exits to the patio or upstairs. |

So if you're in the main room, there's no way to use the bathroom without getting shut out? Planning ahead for Digweed, I can see lots of yellow water bottles everywhere? :nervous: |

They had it blocked from like the coat check to the left side of the right enterance. So you could use the main bathroom and go back into the main room through the right side. If you went past the "blockade" and went to where the stairs are, you were then out and would have to walk in again through the left side.
On the left side they had it setup right by the bar, inside at the end of the hallway after the honey room. |

At least it's possible to get to the bars and the restrooms then, so all is good...I'll make sure to arrive early and not leave the main room...ever! (although they will kick me out well before NYE 2012 approaches...) :clown: |

All in good fun for sure. Was an epic afterparty just watching everyone go at it lol. Especially Sean and Sarah! Definitely no hard feelings. |
Round 3 with Sean and I this weekend, lol. it was all in good fun for sure :) life is too short to take yourself or anyone too seriously.
i'm not a fan of Sean's style of trance but as Brian said i respect his talents and he is a super good guy. and can laugh at himself as well. |

Call me when you leave Circus. I feel the oncoming need to talk trash to a headlining trance DJ. :p |

| Why not show up to Circus Brian? You music is pretty good, but come see what real energy feels like. |

As I've said, I miss my time at Circus, but I don't care for the music that is played there. I really do not like ANY music played over 135 bpm, regardless of genre. I think I'm getting too old for it LOL. I can't speak for the "real energy" there as I have not been in a couple years. I'm sure it's quite the experience; it just isn't for me. However, I have enjoyed some of the best nights in my life in that club over the last decade. (I miss Spundae :whip: )
Music is by far the #1 reason why I patronize any venue, which is why I choose to brave the washers and meat heads at Avalon over any of the other major clubs in LA. The music there speaks to my tastes more than most. To that regard, I still rarely go to a club on a typical Saturday. I'd rather get dirty at an underground event :) |
