Call me when you leave Circus. I feel the oncoming need to talk trash to a headlining trance DJ. :p

i'll let you know what we're doing.

I love the battle between genres on this forum, it's great.

Personally, I like everything from Thievery Corporation to Ozgur Can to Digweed to Umek to Ferry to Sean Tyas.

Different music for different moods. :)

I'm listening to your proton radio from June. I already like what I hear. Has a breaky-semi-ambient-tech feel.

I forgive you man. But only cause this proton session sounds pretty darn good. I could play this on my drives on the back road, like up Bouquet canyon. :)

Brian regularly spins for us, but what you listened to is obviously more chill than what we play in a club.

Here's a set from one of our recent headliners - LUCY of Stroboscopic Artefacts. Its more techno and compressed dub, a live set at Berghain Club in Berlin.

Best. Thread jack. Ever!!!!
Jim Carson
There should be a track named after this... "The Thread Jacker..."

I can see it now... "Jack, jack, jack your body to the thread jacker."

:tongue2

Just don't ever see Thievery Corp DJs. Worst DJs EVER. EVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

It was like listening to radio DJ mix. As in, they didn't mix. Just cut over between tracks. Will never support them as DJs again. They sold out two nights at Mezzanine years back...the room was pretty much empty an hour into their set the first night as people just walked out. We didn't even bother going to the second night, which I heard was just as bad.

That said, they rock live!!

Sorry, but this doesn't do it at all for me. I can't even call this music. Where is the melody, the notes? Can you sing it? It's got a dominant beat and I can see myself dancing to it at a club but that's about it.
