You know someone is on shrooms when they are driving 15 MPH in 40MPH zone and they think their Jeep Cherokee is a spaceship.
Please don't ever drive on GHB. My friend Arbi was 23 years old and he was in a car with a few other friends and they were all on GHB. They crashed into one of the sides of the mountain of Laurel Canyon. I'm pretty sure most of them survived except Arbi. He was 23 and full of life. That was almost 10 years ago. Now another friend has passed to a similar fate. May their souls rest in peace and love. Remember life is short and it is what you make of it. Make decisions that enhance your life, not risk everything. Please. :) |

my friend drove us like this one time...it was dumb of me to let him but i was tripping as well. it's funny how you point this out because it's entirely correct lol. at the time- great. in retrospect it was frightening and i haven't done it since. |

if you could instantaneously test for drugs and then decline entry to those who failed he test, avalon could put the DJ in the outside alley and still have plenty of room for the patrons to dance.

No avalon for me for a while after saturday, not like i go there that often anyways. LA needs a club where people are friendly, no washers, has in/outs, open late and brings in great talent. Clone Ruby Skye. |

Actually GHB is a pretty safe drug if not mixed with any other SNS depressants ("downers"). It's when people take it as part of a cocktail of substances that it turns deadly. It's a prescribed drug - Xyrem - with a dose being more than clubbers take, to make people pass out (and get sleep). It breaks down in one's body into water and carbon dioxide, and 12 hours later, your body will just piss it away.

right, after this saturday Im hibernating from avalon for a while. i'd say 100 days. Some of the patrons should hit up rehab during that time. kick their habits. |
