| Why can't people go for the music? I mean when I was going to Avalon more often, Id see the same people every time messed up out of their mind. Maybe that kids program DARE should take the kids to Avalon, I'm sure that'll scare the crap out of them when they see all the crackheads clear out at 5am. |

i agree.
even though avalon has db's and washers, there are always some fine looking women there. the two times i've been there (markus & sander) have been amazing.
but yea, circus deserves more bodies. |

alcohol and shrooms hell no. drunk drivers are far worse than stoned driver. Hell, the only real HUGE study done with with stoned drivers (at least last I cared to do any research on this. it was done over in the UK by a transportation group years back) proved there is little risk with stoned drivers and in some cases even showed to improve the driving of some. 99% of stoned drivers can still drive just fine. :p |

When i drive stoned i drive perfectly. Exact speed as speed limit, signal on everything, and come to perfect stops at stop signs |

That will never happen, especially on a Fri/Sat night. That place gets packed as it is, and the crowd that goes is WAY different then the EDM crowd that goes else where. Thats a bottle service venue for the most part those 2 nights.
If anything, Playhouse will start booking bigger acts then the ones they are booking right now. They have been booking bigger and bigger acts lately. |

| Looks like this new Supperclub has been booking some EDM acts...they had Mark Farina a couple Saturday nights ago...and one of the guys from Thievery Corporation last Friday night. |

D:Fuse played there a few weeks ago and is tentatively going to be a resident as he's been a resident at the SF Supperclub for years... |

| Supperclub is dope. They plan to focus on cutting edge dance music when its an actual Supperclub event. I don't think there is a regular scheduled line up week after week as different promoters can book any open dates. Example: An LA Lakers party was there this past Saturday. |

i had fun when i went for D:Fuse.... good-looking crowd... a bit older than the normal Hollywood clubs....
sound system sucked...
overall i liked it and would go back...

the crowd was not a typical avalon crowd on saturday.. it was full of hollywood trash..while waiting in the ridiculous line.. i kept hearing pple go "omg i wanna hear steve angello...but hell this..lets just go back to the roosevelt and do some lines and jump in the pool"..
these dolled up chics had dropped in line at like 9:50 and at around 10:15 when they realized it was gonna cost $50 to get in..they said "aye yo..lets just go to Kress.. this "..these weren't your typical avalon crowd... it was a "omg i like that swedish house mafia track they play at XS/Surrender in Vegas..so lets go to avalon tonight and see Steve Angello"
