I was thinking about posting this but I had no idea where to do it.

I find it kind of amazing that someone can come into a scene and in less than two years literally dominate it with some of the best songwriting that uplifting trance has ever seen, get a massive response, and then lose their passion for it.

His film score stuff is amazing too, though, but I really am upset that I won't see anything else by him. , he inspired me so much when I was really starting to develop my style.

oh well.

maybe i should post in a blogg too that i left trance 3 years ago. im really sorry folks but it is the truth. no more trance from me. i had to move on because of personal reasons. why do anyone need to decide on such things and then tell about it? if he released music in different genres i guess the fans would understand it themselves after some time. its perfectly natural to move on from one genre to another one, and basically every producer does it. why make a post about evolution and claim it to being revolution?

Its Robby's fault, he must have checked out his wip :D

Oh come on, don't make it seem like a usual thing for an uplifting trance producer to suddenly quit when they're on top and go for something like film scores. He has a very loyal fanbase and he's letting them know that they shouldn't expect anything new from him, how is that unreasonable?

I bet it was his remixes of Serenity. Seriously, there's absolutely no way he could have topped that. That was unquestionably the top of his game and his subsequent remixes weren't anywhere near as good as that. Hell even his track Florescence wasn't too good compared to it.

i listened to Afternova - Serenity (Andy Blueman Remix) just to find out whats the fuzz about and i gotta say; whats the fuzz about? its like any other trance track the last 6 years? the melody is a mess, the drums are generic, it has no pulse. if this is what trance is then he should move on yes. also mixdowns are very muddy and compressed to .
Subtle
Good choice.

uh what makes you think drums would add anything to that track? he obviously focuses on melodies, not percussion, whether or not you think that's a bad thing probably determines if you like him or not but he's not a bad musician because of it.
