i was told it was sold out by the promotor 10 days before the event. he also said that they will NOT sell any tix at the door due to the overwhelming demand. THEN a couple days later (one week before NYE), my boyfriend found tix through clubcrawlers.com, sooooo we bought em. |

It wasn't even one of the 10 that were nominated, let alone voted as the winner! Chedish House Mafia got that award... which was super cheesy, but at least fun!
And on that note, I wasn't even really impressed by any EM this year...2009 was a great year! Hope 2011 is better! |

ALLOWED being the key word. And then the politicians themselves got involved and directed the people who run the event venues to ban raves after believing misleading hysteria. And now you want them to be regulated by the government? You can kiss any event that is not run by house of blues goodbye if that happens. You think some suit is going to let anything that isnt a corporate concert happen if this is the case?
Why do people in canada bitch about the government, complain about how they distrust politicians, and then want to give them even more power? I just dont get it! |

your right about 2009 compared to 2010, Sharams EM was truly the best one, and is a set that I really enjoy listening to over and over. As for 2010, thy weren't all bad, the ten selected had some really creative artists in there like James Zabiela and Four Tet, but the rest were generally to dubstep for my liking. I thought that John Digweeds and Joris Voorns EM of 2010 should have been included, but who knows how they selected the top ten. |

do I care who was nominated number one? I was only talking about myself there :) I cannot stand what SHM plays these days, such a disaster and not what they started with :( |

It seems that they've only arranged for Avicci to makeup for the New years fiasco according to the info in this thread. Don't know if they did it that way bc they only managed to reschedule him and not Glenn for that date...or if it's because they don't care about Glenn, which again shows how big avicci really is! |
