Got there at 11 and cops had shut down the club due to "gross over-selling the event". |
WEIRD - Were the bouncers saying this? Was there a sign on the door? Such a random reason... (tho totally possible, I'm not calling them out, just shocked tbh) |

| (on a side note) I also saw that he was playing Montreal from 5-7am lol Even via private jet from Toronto island, is that humanly possible to make?!!? |

Twitter was originally saying someone got stabbed because apparently there was upwards of 15 police cars there (ready for a riot I'm assuming), but nope, just retarded promoters. |

(just for the record, I'm not trying to stir or anything)
I just don't understand how law enforcement comes into the equation, how would they know anything related to ticket sales? |

this event has so many curveballs! (plus isn't Roosevelt half the capacity of 99 Sudbury?!) |

Don't know about in Toronto, but in Burlington, before any big event the fire dept. does a full building inspection (including paper confirmation of how many tickets sold) and if anything's fishy, the police are notified. So if the promoters lied about how many tickets were sold, all it takes is one person calling the police saying it's dangerous and it's game over. |

I was told by the one and only Security guy I saw that it was over sold. I got there at 9 30 -45ish and it was utter chaos. Will Call was a small table set up in front of 99 Sudbury, no semblance of a line, just a mob of people pushing and trying to claw their way to the front. Those who were lucky to get the girl's attention had to give her their receipt, show id, and then she would pass (over the crowd nonetheless) a list, you had to find and sign your name verifying you got your ticket. I think I only saw a handful of ppl actually get tickets.
At one point the security said he was just going to let us all in through the door behind him but we had to make a line against the wall. I was already against the wall, and all of a sudden this mob of hundreds of people start rushing to it. I had my head hit against the brick corner of the building. While being crushed my friends pursed opened and some how her car key fell out. Longest night of my life as we had to wait until 2 am for someone to bring us the spare. Not to be overly dramatical, but I really thought we had another love parade tragedy in the making.
In my 15 years of partying I had never ever seen such a thing.
Anyways a big eff you to twentytwenty and the lil who's probably getting a nice new car with a portion of my money :@ |

crazyness, fully supports the evidence now that it was a capacity issue... that ty, as it's kind of like being punished for throwing a party everyone wanted to go too... tons of hype for Avicii! (I didn't realize the guy had such a huge buzz/ draw)
