Yeah, I turned it off. I can only take so many.
It's prob because of the type of event it is. |

| When will these DJs/Producers realize vocal trance sucks ass and that 95% of the community hates it? |

Vocal tracks get the more casual people. And girls tend to like them more.
I can deal with vocal tracks. I expect them. Some aren't too bad. But there were just wayyyyyyyyyyy too many in his set. It was vocal overkill. |

Yeah but most people who are there to enjoy the music would want some harder stuff. Simon Patterson and CL throw down the best sets these days, everyone else has started playing too much cheesy that has turned me off from trance lately.
All these DJs the past 18 months have just gone overkill on the vocals. I tried listening to Cosmic Gates set from Beyond Wonderland, wtf? That isn't the Cosmic Gate sound. I remember seeing Cosmic Gate back in March 09 and they never played the they do now.
Vocal trance turns off alot of the original fans, and that's a true shame |

| Ya, but it's an undeniable fact in today's scene: vocal tracks get a bigger audience. Easier for the casual fans to relate to those songs. It's unfortunate most DJs have chosen to alienate their hardcore, original fans by trying to placate to larger demographics...but that's the way it is. |
