We were talking about this last night. Driving floats in a circle doesn't give me that "parade" feeling.

Just a day festival would be nice and an afterparty, though I'm probably thinking that we will do the festival for a bit, go back into the city for a disco nap, and await the madness in the clubs.

For how we usually like to plan the weekend the location is a logistical nightmare even with BART, IMHO.

Still too early to make a yes or no decision for me at this point. Though I swear to GOD if there is any dubstep, I will probably just say no on general principle. lol.

Don't get me wrong, i know nothing if thats what you though. i just read the entire event page on fb

i don't wanna see moving floats either...
let the parade die with the SF location please! no reason to to move the stages on the actual grounds...

And BART will be so easy to catch, i hope they add extra trains for this though!

Dash Berlin, Gareth Emery, and Blake Jarrell were announced by Skills earlier.

If thats the "Trance" they have for the 3 out of 6 headliners... not my thing.

LOL Blake Jerrell has played progressive house every time I've seen him... not even trance

so no Sasha and Digweed tag team set this year.

HINT to all the promoters and LovEvolution organizers. This is the equation for an awesome party in SF.

(Sasha + Digweed) + SF multiplied of the angle of the dangle from the weirdos at Day party =

AWESOMNESS!!!

When I was at SF LovEvolution two years ago, I tried taking the Muni from the festival in the afternoon and it was an absolute clusterf*ck. On top of that, all the machines were out of change so nobody could ride unless they had exact fare in coins on them, so I wound up walking instead and not meeting my friends where I had planned.

I'm thinking of skipping SF Love Parade/LoveFest/LovEvolution for the first time (have been to every one since the beginning except for last year) due to the transportation issues (wait time, safety, etc.) between Oakland and SF...

Nice! Yet again, comin' through!

Sasha&Digweed(2) = Sasha(2) + Digweed(2)

Who would have thought the pythagorean theorem would be used for this?

BART and MUNI aren't even close to the same thing in terms of scale. BART regularly handles the crowds at sporting events at the coliseum, so this won't be something out of the ordinary for them. If you put enough money on your card for the round trip and don't leave right at the end with everyone else you'll probably have very little hassle.

is this going to be in the old Home Base parking lot as well as coliseum grounds/parking lot since there connected?

(please please please, that would be epic)

This whole parking lot thing reminds me of Love Parade SF the first time around. That was a good day!
I'm not sure I'd buy tux to see just two full on trance artists even if they are two of the most fun live artists I've seen in the past year.

Does anyone else see what I'm saying about skills booking artists right after they play Ruby (or 1015 before)

If you come I will be your transportation :)

There's also bart that goes from oakland to SFO, not sure how long it takes though

I was hoping they would keep the event in San Francisco, maybe use the parking lot/stadium of the Giants, with a parade in that area as well.

The event seems to lose something when taken out of San Francisco.

Nevertheless, I hope Lovevolution continues to be a laid-back, highly individualistic event of community self-expression and doesn't go in the wrong direction of too much security, rules, etc.
