It's still beef. I don't see how grinding it up makes a difference. I'd prefer a pink burger to anything else for sure. I think it's harder to cook a perfect burger than it is to cook a perfect steak. |

I think it's the idea that since the meat is just put through a grinder, it's more likely to have picked up any kind of bacteria, and also the quality of the meat is worse to begin with. |

| if it's bloody it has that nasty metallic taste, I go medium for everything I order. But, I've noticed the nicer places never have that metallic taste so, maybe it has to do with how the meat is prepared rather than how well done it is cooked. idk |

In winter try steaming them on a bed of kelp and onions...i'm not even joking...steam the cheese right on them too! they taste awesome. |
