Where's Subtle..?
This is a valuable thread on an important subject, but the last ~5 pages could do with some heavy cleaning.
On the subject: IMO, there's still plenty of money to be made on EDM, but it's a different day and age and requires different skills to make it. Successful electronic musicians have always been talented multi-taskers, but now that's more prominent than ever. I'm at business school at the moment and all the stuff I'm learning helps a lot on this subject. |

There are actually studies that show multitasking makes you less effective and lowers your functioning intelligence while you're doing it. It's preferable to just focus on one task at a time rather than dividing your attention between multiple tasks. |

| that works more or less like internet bandwith , you can have 5 paralell downloads each at 500kbps for a total of 2,5mbps/second or you can have just one running at 1'5 mpbs. If you want a global maximum proficiency it's better to multi task. |

After some reading and contemplating over the weekend, I came to conclusion (with all of yours comment and opinion guys) that there is still some money left to be made in this industry.
I know that this will not be an easy job to do but with some innovative and sleek business plan I can definitely try to take a small share of this money distribution process lol.
So even if I don’t fully succeed in this task, I still would like to see (and/or take a part in, if is possible) this process to take effect on reshaping this whole industry or at least to see beginning of it.

Doew the average hockey player on a drinking league make money? That is not a reflection of whethere there is money or not. If you re average , you won't make money. Deal with it or stop being average. |
