EYK doesn't realize that mentioning someone that you have on ignore every day kind of defeats the purpose. Getting under his skin without him even reading what I say is even more satisfying. Especially since it's getting under his skin as well as a thick layer of blubber.

Mad libs would make a great thread!

I tried driving away at the dealer in my new car.. with the hand brake on.

Then I remembered: some people still use the hand brake.

Well I couldn't even drive my car when I bought it - I had to bring my buddy with me to drive it off the lot. :gsmile:

At the Skoda dealer they told me they had to replace someones DSG clutch two times in 4 months.
His driveway goes up a little, so he drove out his garage, pulled the handbrake and went to close the door. But left the DSG in Drive instead of park :)
No-one told him...was his reaction. First replacement was under warranty, the second time they got suspicious.

I'm really just writing this to re-affirm what a knob you are. BMW are pieces of . I know several people who returned them before their leases ended due to chronic malfunctions, and the M series are even worse - they don't know how to build performance. In the 90's and early 00's both the 3 and the 5 series were plagued with rust problems in the front wheel arches/sils.

Ever wonder why you hardly ever see 3 series from the early 90s today, even though they were one of the biggest selling cars? yep, and funny that you see TONS of those old boxy 90's mercs everywhere.

(I'll wait for those two brain cells floating around your head to collide and make the realisation).

Even the Germans have an expression for their beloved BMW; Bring mir Werkzeug (google it) or the American variation, Bring Many Wrenches. They specifically appeal to those with money but no taste. Look at their advertising. They can't bank on their heritage compared to their competitors (merc, porche etc), they can't bank on their looks (you think those rear ends look tasteful?) So they bang on about the ultimate driving machine (which you know to be a fallacy in case you've ever driven a real sports car). So they appeal to manchildren who think they are race drivers.

I know your knowledge on most subjects is really limited to the wiki or in this case an episode of Top Gear, but you really need to stop spouting utter bull on this forum, that you simply can't back up.

Actually that's not true. They also appeal to trophy wives who don't have the funds for real cars

Oh, and just to drive(lol) the point home even more:

hmmm, not just me:

OH SNAP! Look at that. Tesla score the highest (in history) and the BMW 1 series (lol) is behind it (and the only BMW in the top 10). SO not only is it a beautiful looking car, it's ing great as well. but what would I know. I've only driven one a couple of times before right?

You remind me of l4c, but with the ability to put together semi-coherent sentences. You paint yourself as an expert on any topic imaginable when really you don't know . Or did you have a meeting with the inventor of the hybrid car yesterday too? :p

I think it's because we both constantly call you out for being a dumbass, and only ever posting incredibly superficial information and supposition.
Am I an expert on Cars? No. I've owned over a dozen from 60's vintage to American modern), can and do fix the majority of things myself (tools allowing) and have taken a fair few on a real track, so i think it's fair to say I'm pretty well versed on this.

Am I an expert on anything compared to you? Simply put, It would be like Einstein teaching science to 4 year olds.

More proof?

What? Everyone changes their windshield washer fluid?

I haven't done it on my daily driver in 5 years. Nearly every mechanic does it as part of your oil change and I've never run out of fluid before an oil change was due. I imagine most people have the same experience in the USA.

You try way too hard, and you still don't know about . The reason you remind me of l4c is because you both wax expertise on pretty much every subject under the sun.

That's it? That's the best you could do?

I think the only vehicle you'll ever drive is the waaaaaaaambulance.

The expertise you mention is knowledge, experience and understanding, three things which you sorely lack, so even though I don't know what you're going through, I can still understand.

If it makes you feel more adequate, I know nothing about flower arranging and I'm a pretty bad cook when it comes to cakes and desserts.

Feeling better?

You're calling me a for pointing out how hard you try (unsuccessfully) to come off as an expert on everything? You driving a Tesla doesn't mean they look good (they don't). You having friends who didn't like their BMWs doesn't mean they're bad cars (they're not). Besides that, I have driven BMWs, the first being about a 2004 z3. They're called "The Ultimate Driving Machine" because from a performance standpoint, they knock the socks off of Mercs, which are their largest competitor. If you want all class and status, you buy a Mercedes. If you want a car that's fun to drive, you buy a BMW.

Nice try.

Basically all you are is the king of logical fallacies. Your arguments are so ripe with them even someone with the most rudimentary knowledge of arguments and/or philosophy would be hard pressed to miss them.

While it takes you paragraph upon paragraph, I can call you a moron in under a minute.

Still no substance to come back with? Just a meta argument of the argument itself?

Thought not. Must get boring when all of us call you out so often for being a charlatan.

now where's that art thread...Oh, wait
