Yeah, that's a nice one, although my grandmother actually drives that same car lol.
I just like the STS because it's a lot sportier looking. |

| I ing hate the grills/front hoods on the last 5 years of caddies. They look . The whole American car manufacturer (im looking at you dodge) motive seems to be "lets try and make our car look like a transformer". Why the they are trying to make their cars look like some dumb ass 16 year olds riced out kitted out Mitsubishi Lancer Evo I have no idea. |

Yea, he explained that to me after he explained how one of the districts he represents (guess which one Jake, I bet anyone can figure it out if they live around here) the teachers drive volvos and old beat up 80s Hondas and the students pull up in next years BMW, Merc, Lexus, Audi, Acura, super-car, classic super restored muscle, you name it, that their parents bought them. Because some little head is causing the school grief he doesn't need to show up looking like another rich jerk.
Another story he related to me was that he was waiting for a meeting at this tiny little district down near the Columbia and he was waiting for the school to open and he was shooting the with the some of the maintenance staff and he mentioned he was the districts lawyer and they go "oh whats your ride?" and he points at the lot and goes "See that dirty CRV with the cracked windshield? Thats mine." The workers were like "wow... our union boss drives an Audi." |
It's funny actually...the difference between the surgeons and medicine docs at work. Surgeons are notoriously egotistical - so it isn't surprising that the majority of them drive the flashiest cars in the parking lot. Whereas the internists are more notoriously humble, a lot of them drive more modest cars. One of the best doctors I know - a brilliant ICU doc, drives an old Accord. I couldn't help but respect him a little bit more once I knew that. :p |

I got a really good deal on it when I graduated from uni. $15k, 2 years old, and only 15,000 miles on it. |

I own an '03 Honda Pilot 4WD EX. Just rolled over 150k a couple weekends ago. Only major work done on it was a replaced transmission at 147k and a strut at 120k. Only routine work is oil changes every 3-5k, and I get it checked out every 3 years or so by techs. |

| I think my next car I will get a GTI. Had I already known how to drive stick when I bought my Golf, I would've got a GTI...but I was too scared, lol. :( |

Really? NYS requires an state regulated inspection every year. It's like a $75 ticket if you get pulled over and your inspection is out of date.
Also lol @ Jenny. When she posted that she bought that car she was bragging that she knew how to drive stick and how everyone should know how and that it was a standard. ing liar. |
