Good one.

If you want some substance, look at this web page, and then remove your head from your ass.

Just so you can't weasel your way out of this, here's the comparison.

Forget about the horrendously gaudy Merc symbol that seems to be ever more prominent on newer models, it just reeks of nouveau riche. It's like "hey look at me, I have $35,000 and I want you to know it from a ing mile away."

It doesn't surprise me that somebody like you would find that appealing.

Oooh, you be editing both of your last posts after a response.

", I'm getting called out again, need to google something fast and edit my post before the other figure it out"

Beautiful. Have you ever driven a Merc then driven a BMW?

Though not. And for every PR leveraged comparison you post up, I'll post up another. One's also the lowest base model (c250) and the other is should be a 320i, but they slipped in a beefier model. Apple to apple hey?

Oh look at that. When you put up that the right cars against the real equivalent you get a slightly different result (you ing moron)

Oh, and even with the dice loaded:

(BMW third place after Merc)

Could keep going but when you're at the VERY cheap end of Merc, BMW seem to do OK as they have (and rightly so) different price points; you're buying into quality with Merc and appealing to the tacky with BMW. The moment you step up from base models and as a brand full stop, BMW lose hands down. check the reliability reports across the board and Merc always win.

See you don't know anything about this apart from a cursory search on google, which is exactly what i was hoping you would do as always.

Just, no. Keep trying ever so hard though. I expect another essay sometime soon.

anyone know anything about the subaru xv's? im thinking of picking one up in a few months and wanted something a bit differen to my usual girly sedan or hatch. i've read reviews and stuff but would love some expertise by the cranky TA crew, lol.

I drive a Subaru and love it. The symmetrical awd is a godsend in any area with bad weather. That doesn't really apply to you because Australia is stupid.

It needs more power, or at least the gas version does. It's practically torque-less. The chassis is nice, albeit the steering feel is a bit vague. Goes without saying, go with a manual cause the CVT is just terrible.

Yeah, I’ve heard bad things about the lineartronics. I hear that other places, like the UK, get a 2.4 diesel. I would’ve preferred that but whatever. I just think they look sexy (as far as SUVs go).

Thanks for the tip.

When you say "girly sedan" what kinda car are you talking about?

I agree it's probably one of the best looking things in its class. Damn shame the diesel isn't around most places; the torque on it is probably better suited for its handling than the anemic 2.0 liter I drove.
