I'm merely pointing out that jay's quite critical of the US system but the chinese one is worse. He's usually somewhat sympathetic to chinese policy from what I've seen from his posts. I can't find the article in question but there was a recent news story about how a high ranking chinese military official committed manslaughter in bejing I think it was and got away with it and there were fairly large protests in response. There's nothing difficult to understand about my post in context. It's quite reasonable to assume that Dykes on jay's frame of reference is comparing the system of the country he's living in to the American one.

I'm sure pointless one liners gets you so far in life as well.

Jay's never made a serious post about Chinese military policy in his life, you're just too stupid to realise when he's trolling.

Even setting that aside, there's so much stupidity in your post I don't even know where to begin. How is military corruption in China remotely relevant to a discussion on how veterans are treated by society? Because both subjects involve men who wear helmets and carry guns and something vaguely "wrong" happens to someone? Is that sufficient basis for comparison in your feeble little mind?

he's a total spud.

Sympathetic to Chinese policy? Are you ing kidding me?

Chinese policy is the last thing holding this country back. Living in China does not make me a card carrying pinko. I work here, that's it. I owe no loyalty to this country other than being a law abiding citizen and paying my taxes. You should probably stick to chasing your own tail.

You ought to be hanged for thinking that "welfare queens" are a thing.

because on the one hand they're undervalued in America but in China they're overvalued and they get away away with illegal acts. Anyway, the original point was that it's a bit rich to be critisizing the way they're treated in America when there's problems with how their treated in someone's own country and to not at all reference the differences.

And look buddy, I don't think you're smarter than me at all. You displayed a total lack of a clue in my mix thread and you routinely seem to assume that you know a lot more about practically everything than you do.

Guys, calm down. Psyshell is just SAYIN' that, due to cultural differences, Chinese military veterans are truly venerated in their homeland, and are allowed to get away with too much because of their country's overvaluing them. We've all heard the tales of the marauding PRC vets on leave, taking to the streets and getting away with all manner of tomfoolery. Isn't that your original point, Psyshell? It's just rich. Rich, rich, rich.
Psyshell
Not exactly. Perhaps it could be summed up with "well the situation in china is just as bad, only for different reasons".
