God bless you, and God bless America. |

| Trump is probably going to win again, unfortunately. |

One man's trash is another man's treasure.
He's absolutely going to win.
Say to yourself 5 times, and out loud: President Joe Biden
Doesn't have a realistic ring to it. Biden has the personality of a stale granola bar and will be stuttering and getting eaten alive by hilarious baller bombast throughout the whole campaign.

I hoped that it would have been clear to everyone since he got elected the first time, that he's gonna go another round – easily. If something can go wrong, it usually will.
Why the hell did someone like Sanders even try? And why on Earth did Biden try? He's just surreal. It's truly ing amazing how crazy he seems with his ramblings about his hairy legs and roaches jumping on his lap. |

| He is quickly ascending to Berlusconi levels of ballerdom in the pantheon of trolling. Hard not to be a fan. |

What makes you think that?

The US has very few (none?) well-liked politicians, sadly. Not many great options. |

| Incumbents almost never lose, and unless record numbers go out to the polls (which was lol about last time...at least vote ffs.) Trump will take it easily. The wildcard is when progressives start cannibalizing and voting 3rd party. Trump has a loyal base. Biden does not. His rather poor fundraising ability during the primaries could serve as an indicator of this. Furthermore, populism is gonna be the name of the game for the next little while. This is not solely limited to the US. |

2018 turnout was very high for midterm elections, at its highest since the 1960s:

Maybe enough people really will be pissed off about the way the pandemic has been handled to get out there and vote. It probably depends on what the economy does between now and then and whether anything else happens to distract voters.
I think it's Trump's election to lose. |

Incumbents don't really 'almost never lose.' Sure, Obama, Bush 2, Clinton, and Reagan all won reelection, but Bush 1, Carter, and Ford all lost. That's 4:3 for the past 7 re-election campaigns. Yes, all incumbents are advantaged, but it's nowhere near 'almost never lose.'
Trump has a very loyal base, a large group of people who dislike him, and a large group of people who hate him. He's very unpopular.
With economic problems and deaths, etc., his position is not exactly great.
I don't necessarily think Biden will win, it obviously depends on turnout and what independents do, but it seems pretty 50/50 right now, if not slightly leaning towards Biden. |
