thats pretty good... i miss fruity loops ever since i switched over in summer last year to ableton
too bad the latency between my keyboard and pc was just too much for me to handle fruity |

Why do you say that, wouldn't the latency be pretty much the same in Live?
I have an M-Audio Keystation connected through USB, and I use the M-Audio Transit soundcard (also USB). For my purposes, it works like a charm. No apparent latency at all. But I'm a beginner, what my be no latency for me may be an eternity for a professional ;) |

| well ironically, with live i had aboutr a ms latency and a couple of seconds latency with FL |

Perhaps it's the way FL was configured. Try lowering the buffer setting. It creates latency/delays so that the computer can keep up with all of the processing it has to do to avoid buffer underrun (similar to CD/DVD burners).
Also, use the ASIO drivers for your sound card if available. You can get them in the sound card/driver drop down. If you have no clue what I'm talking about, PM me and I can help you out (maybe, I'll do my best ;)) |

Haha, I figured you weren't, but just in case you didn't know, I offered my help :)
I'm not a fan of FL because of the way it works on patterns, I find it cumbersome to use. I really like Live because it is so easy to use, especially the looping. And making mixes (DJ) is a lot of fun in it too. I just need that Pioneer DJM-800! Want to lend me $1800? And when I say lend, I mean give as a present :p |

It's interesting stuff, I'll give it that..
Nicely done on the stereo panning, but watch the top end on some of the synths as they drown things out a bit here and there.
Outside of that, clever stuff! Looking forward to hearing the final product!

Meh, not a *big* issue, you're just going to encounter some trouble if you play this out on a bigger system - If anything, just automate it down slightly when you've got more going on, all should be well.
