Wow, I just listened to your track El. I have to say, I'm really impressed!

The thing that stands out for me is that note that just keeps going and going... like the Energizer battery ;). It's the synth that comes in at about 1:34, and is given the most attention at about 2:06. My honest opinion is that I just don't like it, which is probably mostly due to the fact that there's nothing changing, nothing happening. In other words, there's nothing, in my opinion, that makes that specific note/synth/lead interesting. Or maybe it can work as is, but it's too loud? You know what I mean?

You've really done an awesome job with the track. The mix flows VERY well, and at no point does it sound like there's some element that is missing. Awesome stuff! :)

EDIT: Oops, it looks like that's what you and Jer were already talking about. Sorry about that. Hehe.

thanks for the imput guys....i admit that im quite amateur when it comes to production. basically just doing it for fun and i mean you never know when you might make something that sounds good. since you liked it though here's a sample of another one im working on

oh and for that synth.....i know its only in the breakdowns but to be honest with you that was my first attempt at an automation clip and i just guess i was trying it out.....to be honest though. most other people find that to be the best part of the track. to me i like it but i guess i could have just automated the main bass sound instead.

k this might come off a bit too negative but:
the wider bass ur using is a bit too wide that the notes are not clear enough to differentiate...

the snare has too much reverb...that gets annoying after a minute

theres a bend that u use around 1:28 and again at 3:06 that kinda goes off key and comes in too sudden...then after the 3:06 bend, it seems like its another track altogether cos the groove of the bassline changes too drastically

the quality overall is rather good..just a few kinks need to be straightened...

this is a sorta JZ track:)
