ok this one is juicy...kinda long, but entertaining..
I have a male best friend whom I’ve known since like 5th grade. Anyway, he’s somewhat of a punk, and just recently got his together (thank god, he has a kid), but a few years ago, he was a total criminal, and he did pretty serious scores…he had universal garage door openers and gate openers to ritzy housing developments and would drive 2 hours to Naples and steal Ferrari and Porcshe rims…he even stole a brand new CL 600 one time and stripped it and sold it…I saw the car, I was freaking out when he told me.
anyway, just a little background information.
so one day (the summer after I graduated high school), he calls me up and he’s like, “Jamie, you wanna make $1000 tonight”? I was like, “ok, doing what”?
basically I was the planned getaway driver for a robbery he was going to commit. he had some sort of vendetta (wouldn’t tell me the details) against this asian dude who owned several Thai restaurants. Anyway, he (my friend) had a friggin ski mask, gloves, walkie talkies (the kind that can’t be picked up from cops) and stun guns! he was gonna stun the dude in the parking lot while getting in his car.. I guess he had been scooping the place/guy out for a month or so, cuz he knew exactly how much cash the guy left with every night (from sales in the restaurant), PLUS he knew what kind of rolex the guy wore and how much THAT was worth…I was just like blown away. I told him yea, cuz I really wanted the money and I was pretty devilish myself back then and craved excitement like that..
anyway, I’m sitting in the car w/ the walkie talkie after I dropped him off at the spot we planned and we’re going back and forth talking and he couldn’t use the stun gun because the restaurant was right off a highway, and there happened to be 2 cop cars on that highway who were pulling people over…he said the light from the stun gun might get their attention…not to mention, the restaurant owner’s WIFE ended up coming that night and taking the cash bag…which (according to my friend) she NEVER does. so that was weird..i guess that guy had a guardian angel. he tried to talk me into doing it again, but that was way too much adrenaline for me, so I passed. |

no, i've never liked him...i started reading his book in high school and i was disgusted back then too. he is someone that i think a lot of normal, healthy people will never get or care to get...he's an open book and a loser, and only losers will be drawn to him. misery loves company.
and it's not like he sees me (or ever will) reacting like this sand:p i'll just never spend a dime on his stupid albums or concerts or anything...and the book was my sister's roommate's...so i didn't buy that piece of either:stongue: |

Back in 6th grade I gave this 10 year old a condom and told him it was a balloon. He blew air into it was playing with it after.....(the condom wasn't used)
I had sex when I was 8 years old with a girl at the same age as me.
In 3rd grade I theatened to stab a classmate if he din't empty out his pockets.
When I was four I used to hit chicks (baby chickens) with a stick with the intention of putting them to sleep; instead they just died.
When I was 6 years old I used to make pipes and smoke dried oak leaves with it.
When I was 6 years old I almost killed my grandfather with a rifle.
One night I almost died as a bullet landed 1 foot away from my head as I was sleeping.
I used to stick a needle and string into these flying bugs and used them as kites. |

cept we wernt allowed to play with needles so we would tie the strings around their bodies and THEN fly them as kites.

most of it is just an act, with rock/punk you need shock value. back in the day parents were saying Black Sabbath and the like were turning their kids to devil worship :rolleyes: Now look @ Ozzy. I'm not arguing you should like him, even i dont care for his music. Teen angst needs an outlet and he fits the bill. btw, i heard him in an interview and he's a lot more intelligent than most pop stars. not sure how we got on this topic?
About ur car/criminal post, I've done like that but I was behind a joy stick *cough grand theft auto. :p |

oh god don't even get me started on ozzy...he’s the same way. now I’m not saying that he has not contributed anything to the music/rock industry at all though. I’m just saying that with all the that goes on today, especially with kids, there is just no need for that, it’s so negative, act or no act.
teen angst needs an outlet...yea well mosh pits, and satanic concerts aren't a very good one if you ask me.
jesus, join a youth group and get involved in sports or music (like learning an instrument)...it's the parent's fault...so i guess it should start with them.
and i'm also not saying that they should never be able to listen to that stuff, just that they shouldn't while they are young and impressionable, that's all...when you are that young, and confused and full of angst, you are more likely to be really affected by it.
as an adult, i enjoy listening to rap and hip hop....i can appreciate it and the raw ghettoness that it brings, but i don't become it...there's a difference. |
