| It already died with the Liberals not too long ago. They were in a frenzy to run through a bunch of legislation before the election which they might lose so they dropped many bills due to them being of lesser importance. One of them being the decrim bill. Now the tories are just gonna make harsher penalties for your average weed smoker. Ahhhh well...:rolleyes: |

LISTEN to this crazy tale of weed sorrow...
i live in london now, where i was told had a much more liberal stance on things like marijuana and such.... now, perhaps against my better judgement i was walking around my neighborhood smokin a fat one with 3 of my buddies. out of NOWHERE this black car comes up to the corner we are just about to approach and 4 men get out of the car and surround the 4 of us proclaiming they were indeed london police. the one cop walks right up to me, and mind you i am STILL holding the ing blunt in my hand... lol as this police officer is addressing me. i was so scared, i either wanted to kill myself, him and the rest of his law pushing droogs, or simply just start to cry at the thought "what if i get taken away and get sent the back to pennsylvania!!!!!!" being ed up stoned did NOT help this situation as the weed we previously smoked was in fact divine :crazy: ! in any event, the police carried on, meanwhile i somehow managed to drop the smoking blunt behind my leg and step on it while this cop is asking me all all sorts of random questions and accusing us of "smoking drugs" before they decided to search us, lol right there in the middle of the street. haha they said they smelt something funny!! so they did.... and thank GOD none of us had , because i'm sure i would be on a way one plane to ass kicking from my parents!! that was certainly an eye opening experience.... i will NEVER do that again!!! lol and its just crazy though cause i have been here only 2 weeks and just about everyday, i walk past someone on the street gettin all toked up, haha so we really thought it would be safe.... guess not :~( |

SAN DIEGO — Authorities said they discovered more than 2 tons of marijuana in a cross-border tunnel that began near the Tijuana airport and ended inside a warehouse on the U.S. side.
The 2,400-feet long passageway is longer than most of the 21 cross-border tunnels that have been discovered since authorities began keeping track after the Sept. 11 attacks, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials said.
"It was like being in a cavern or a cave," said Michael Unzueta, customs special agent in charge in San Diego.
The tunnel's discovery prompted the U.S. Attorney's office in San Diego to open a criminal investigation, said Lauren Mack, a spokeswoman for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Mexican authorities found the entrance about 100 metres south of the border on Tuesday, and officers on the U.S. side found the exit Wednesday. Mexican officials allowed reporters and photographers, including an Associated Press photographer, into the tunnel late Wednesday.
The tunnel was about five feet wide and high enough for an adult to stand inside, had a cement floor, and lights mounted on one of the hard soil walls. It was equipped with a pulley system on the Mexican side.
Four tunnels have been discovered this month in the Tijuana-San Diego area, including more primitive tunnel that was also found Wednesday when a U.S. Border Patrol vehicle struck a sinkhole. |
