ahahahaha, r u serious ??? so u telling me that somebody was yapping about politics and in the guv??? while those guys were spinning?? holy !!!!now i dont wanna be nosey but i have to ask was it diginut or jayx1 (but most likely it was somebody from ex yugo) cause from reading their posts i have the feeling that those are kind of people who would ruin your ing night out just to try and impress you with amount of that they "know" and wouldnt care if they are ruining your fun, they would keep on yapping. so just out of curiosity, who was it ? :) :) :)
when i go to the party i dont talk a lot, only on the patio. inside only allowed conversation should be about girls. and boobs of course. so next time you're here and wanna have "productive conversation in the club".

i dont think it was Jayx and definatly not Diginut ( i know how he look like ).
Some israelis after asking my name, knew i was arabic and started gathering around and speaking politics. I was changing subjects and calming things, but they kept coming back.
One guy pointed a finger at me and touching, i was about to snap right there.
Sander K. is a rumour, totaly possible tho. |

A) i wasnt even in town on Sun. I was partying it to Zabiela in Windsor
B) I never (rarely) talk about politics at a club unless somebody brings it up. Actually usually its TOTAs that bring it up if it happens come to think of it LOL.
C) I rarely talk politics in person and if i do it usually has to do with clubbing. |

Malek I am totally with u on this one! I hate it when ppl do that. Jesus u just tell someone ur name and they are up in your face, ur not out there flaunting ur flag or wearing it on ur clothes... ( has anyone seen as many flags from other countries being paraded around at a club? Just out of curiosity)
Anyhow, I had the best time on Sunday! Honestly the most fun I have had at the Guv... IM blew my socks off, I had no idea what to expect so it ws a pleasant surprise, and AVB was as good as I expected! Great seeing U all, and I will post the pic as soon as I can.

well the israeli flag was there for infected mushroom and i saw a dutch flag pic and i guess it was for armin. Nothing wrong with that at all. Chanting Armin's name during Max's set is disrespectful though. That's pure ignorance.
It would be nice for people to hold up canadian flags as well though. Especially since im betting that these people waving other flags are in fact canadian as well. |

MarkT's review pretty much summed up my night.
I wasn't really into Armin's set that much. I have seen him five times now, and I guess I'm used to his "uplifting" style as apposed to what he played on Sunday. Although, I really liked some of his tracks he played:
Communication (My fav AVB track)
Jump the next train
Find - Ridgewalkers
Silence - Above and Beyond mix
In Silence
Smells like Teen Spirit
Highlights of the night:
-Getting my 76 CD cover autographed :D
-Armin’s Set up! I must say this was the best DJ set up that I have seen (I got wicked shots from behind)
-Find by Ridgewalkers
-Hearing Open your Eyes TWICE! I love that classic
-Having a good spot up front for Armin :)
Not so good stuff of the night:
-All of the pushing and shoving, and usually people are pretty nice about it, but not that night. People seemed to be really agitated.
-The interesting water (sweat) dripping from the ceiling :wtf:
-I didn't really like I.M. but I guess I just don't like that style of music.

Great night indeed. My flight landed at Pearson around 9PM and by the time I got to guv it was 12:30. Big thank you to John for getting me in. IM was good but the crowd was acting pretty rowdy at that time. I've never been pushed and shoved that much at guv before. It was especially annoying since I was exhausted after my 13-hour flight from Korea.
We moved to the Deluxe lounge for Max's set and stayed there until Armin came on. Very disappointed with Max's set because I know he could have done a lot better. Armin came on at 3:30 and then it was pure bliss from there on. I was hoping he'd close out guv but his 3 hour set was a pleasure to dance to. MO's closing set was good as always.
Glad to see many familiar faces and party with loconet, loca, cono_sur and tha_broad. See ya'll at the next event. |

i didn't go to this party and it looks like that was a good choice.
armin was amazing on the boat and seeing him again in a crowded guv would have been horrible.
max graham i would have loved to see, but since the last parto f his set had major technical difficulties then i'm not too torn up about missing it.
the real party was at the docks. |
