Well it took me a while to recover enough to be able to write my review but i'm finally ready now :toothless
The start of the night was pretty good, arrived at Guv with loconet, cono_sur and tha_broad (sorry, i totally space you were in the car!!  ) and the place wasn't quite packed yet. Made the mistake of going to smoke a cigarette and by the time i got back inside, the place was absolutely rammed!
Infected Mushroom: Awesome, first time i saw them live. Enjoyed the first half of the set, but energy left me by the second one. I was also getting tired of being pushed, elbowed and shoved by all the people who were either trying to get to the bathroom or trying to get to the patio. Holy crap. It was like war in there. Didn't really find the Israeli fans hugely friendly either, most of them were very rude and pushy and not mindful at all of other people in the corwd.
Max Graham: First time seeing Mr Graham too, however when he came on i had had enough of going through hell on the floor and had retreated to the safety of the upper lounge. All i could hear up there was bass bass bass and i hate to say it but it didn't sound that good :(. However i was aware there were problems with the sound so i'm sure he sounds a LOT better when there are no problems :tongue2 .
 Armin Van Buuren: What can i say... I'm surprised this man isn't #1 DJ yet. Armin played a sick sick set. Yes, it wasn't as uplifting as it usually is but nonetheless i thought he was awesome. The place had cleared up a bit by then and it was a lot easier to dance and enjoy the music. Couldn't believe it when i heard the first notes of Silence! Up went the sign, which got autographed (and held up by the man himself!!)! Same with In Silence. I had been dying to hear it live and Armin granted that wish. Thank you Armin for a sick night out. Only disappointment on my part was that he didn't close the Guv :tongue2 , but Mark did a great job anyways.
Mark Oliver: No words can do this man justice. Every time i've been out i hear him spin, and every time he does an absolutely amazing job. He closed the Guv in style and it was fun singing Happy Birthday at the end. I managed to congratulate him on his set when he came off which got me a big hug hehe.
Once again, great seeing all the TA's out in force and partying their asses off. Nice meeting some new people: Malek (enfin un francophone!!), Tully, Samhouse (you 2 are too cute together), Cecilia (who apparently is somewhat of a lurker), and any others i forgot to mention: i'm sorry, i'm really bad with names on a night like that, but i will remember your faces! :D
To the TA's i see everytime: loconet (my  ), my brother Tordan, Jason, John, Chris, Natalie, Az, Graham, Aren, Cuzo, and any others i forgot to mention: I love partying it up with you guys! See you next time!! :D |

- slow to start????????? after that seven nation/violin thing (which was very cool), max dropped new sander k - "the fruit", dirty track....respect to max, dude was tearing it up for 45 mins before he got ed over by the sound system. Can anyone (max maybe?) ID the third track from that set? Anways again respect to graham..those 45 mins were the highlight of my night along with the last 45 mins of armins set when the dude finally started playing some real trance.
In hindsight I woulda rather studied for exams and woken up at 8am and caught last hours of Danny T. I wasn't terribly impressed by AVB.
Oh well holden, dumonde and rank 1 coming soon should make up! |

Yes slow for the 1st cpl tracks...7 nation army didn't come until he was well into the beginning of his set around 20-25 min mark imo |
