ing hell... everyone has started playing electro stuff, but... Felix da Housecat, Tiefschwarz and Mylo for a start.
Ory
Oh, yes, I know all of those. When I hear "Dave Clarke" I don't really think electro though. Tiefschwarz, I didn't know they DJ.

So who started the electro craze?

i think people confuse popularity with the resulted bashing. i don't think popularity is the main reason why these people get a lot of crap. if a dj or producer became the most popular dj or producer...as long as they are tearing it up...i'll be loving every moment of it.

the difference comes when they are popular...but for know reason besides the fact that stupid people like them. if it wasn't so repetitive and over done...i'd probably like most of these producers...they just need to get some new ideas...

The more popular something is, the more it gets bashed. No one would give a about McProg if it was an underground scene somewhere, but because a lot of people love it, it's getting more attention from the bashers.

Ory
If anyone's wondering why I like electro, it's for the same reason I like other genres. I find it fresh and innovative from what I've heard, but that doesn't mean that in the deep, deep underground it isn't overplayed. When I myself get sick of it, I'll leave it.
