I'm just sick of seeing "OMG CH00N!!!" being said about every single mediocre track played on said radio shows, and then whine about DJ Sammy being cheesy. To anyone who does it; off. Your taste in music sucks and so do you. |

you are missing my point. all i am saying if it bothers you that much that other people are enjoying it, maybe you are in the wrong place. take the time you spend on bashing to find something that YOU enjoy. |

Most of the stuff he produces and spins is Melodic/uplifting trance pitched down to 132-134 BPM range. I certainly wouldn't call these tracks progressive by any means. Progressive house and trance is produced by guys like Matthew Dekay, Steve Porter, Madoka, Bart Van Wissen and Michael Burns. Not guys like Rico Sorez, Perry O'Neil and Markus Schulz.
Markus and Armin are doing more bad then good for the genre IMO. Sure lots of up and coming producers can get their tracks played by these guys but the genre doesn't progress since they mostly play the same old melodic trance tracks. |
