+ 1 million
Watching the trophy presentation was absolutely surreal (kinda like watching the start of the race with only 6 cars). The presenters didn't want to present, Schumacher looked totally pissed off. People booing...Barrichello running over a water bottle thrown by a fan...
:(:(:( |

its a truelly sad day for F1
but i dont blame the FIA, the governing body cannot changet the circuit just coz one tire manufacturer ed up. if it was bridgestone that ed up and not michellin, then the result woulnt have been so bad since most teams are non bridgestone.
at the same time i dont blame any of the teams coz if the tire company says the tire is not safe then there is nothing they can do but not race. michellin ed up and they should have had at least another compound that could handle the high stresses in such a such speed corner. |

| What I don't understand is how resurfacing the track could change the tire performance so dramatically that Michelin's tires from last year (which COULD handle turn 13) are rendered useless...no one has answered this question yet for me. :conf: :conf: |
