Oh, P.S. You can congratulate me later on Button's finish above Trulli! :p hehehehehe |
I'll be nice this time and leave out my commentary about Sato :p
But Kimi just keeps on going, and Montoya is really picking up the points as well ... McLaren-Mercedes seems to be doing great, and they are right on the heels of Renault.
I think I can safely say now that Ferrari has no chance of winning either constructor or driver titles this year ... so much for all the Ferrari fans and the usual "Ferrari ROXX ... Toyota SUKSSS ... Ferrari will be #1 this year" ... hah so much for that :p .
I'm really interested though in who will get 3rd and 4th in constructors ... will it stay like it is now with Ferrari 3rd and Toyota 4th, or could Toyota potentially overtake Ferrari for 3rd spot? |

Yes my Ferrari dreams were crushed by this last weekend, but atleast I now know that Ferrari is out of the running. Before there was hope, and false hope leads to dissappointment.
I can put all my effort behind Kimi now(most of it has been there since his Sauber days).
Alonso still holds a 20+ points lead over Kimi, which seems within grasp with 1 or 2 car failures. Renault has been rock solid so far, and I fear that it will help coast Alanso to the top. If there is going to be any bad luck in the final few races, Kimi will get it, not Alonso.
I think Ferrari may wrap up the 3rd place inthe constructors, well maybe thats a hope and not a firm position. Toyota...well, where the hell did they come from? Strong start, and mediocore season.
THe real stories are Kimi vs Alonso, Button vs BAR vs Williams, and Schumi switching to McLaren??? That was one of the stories today. That has got to be the stupidist rumor i have heard in F1 in the almost 10 years i have been watching it. Schumacher = Ferrari = Italy. |

common its not MY fault. I just tell the truth. It is up to MB to screw it all up for Kimi.
Mercedes really needs to put their foot down this year and go out on top. Starting next year we have V8s, and who knows how that will affect the standings? My guess is that they will be all shaken up, and we wont see a normal running order for a while. After that, the concord agreement runs out, with only Ferrari, and Red Bull having signed it.
This very well could be the last year we see F1 in a 'normal' mode. |
