The mixing in this is laughable even though the first six tracks. I cringe at the thought of being subjected to the discs in their entirety. |
...and I cringe at the thought of you continuing to post in this forum. Go back to the COR, trollboy. |

Disk 1 < Disk 2
I really like the first track of disk 2, it reminds me of the original two isos's. Quality trance opener. |

| What a sad excuse for a CD. I extracted Tiesto - UR (Junkie XL mix) from the second CD and then deleted the CD and I never want to speak of it again. |

Oh that's right I stumbled into the bandwagon thread where free thinking opinions are outlawed and unless you lick Tiesto's sack you are not welcome.
Well if T-unit here doesn't want the review then they can off :). |

I'm not flaring at all, just asking for your opinions on what I have to say, but does this sound like an episode of ASOT to you guys? In a lot of the parts (not all) the tracks and the overall flow is very asotish. And if you want the definition of the difference between asot and old school isos, listen to isos2 then listen to asot 2005 or 2004 or any episode released within the last year.
I'm just curious, is this where trance is going and was Tiesto cornered into this sound, or is this what Tiesto really wanted? |

I don't enjoy ASOT, it's hit or miss, but this is just plain boring in comparison, to me anyways. |

Is the version of Force of Gravity different from the one that came out on the emotional technology remix ep along with Dylan Rhymes mix?
I dont seem to remember the breakdown including the breakdown of the original force of gravity:conf:
Maybe my memory is bad?:stongue:
BTW I was dissapointed with the cut down of arcadia:rolleyes: kinda ruined the energy of the first cd
Ill listen more and depth and try to give a more thoughtful review later :) |

All ISOS did touch the idea of the 'Ibiza Feeling', but sorry this CD doesn't come even close. ISOS supposed to be a CD with only the very best ones. This is a double CD with a lot of average tracks.
With the start of CD1 I get the real ISOS flow, but slightly it slips away and with the second CD it becomes nothing more than an average trance CD.
Come on, The Force Of Gravity don't belong on ISOS, and CD2 looks indeed like a second Nyana.
If I were Tiesto, I'd choose one CD instead two and the following songs would have stayed:
Solarstone and Jes - Like a Waterfall
Coca & Villa - La Noche (OMG, this is a hell of a track).
Allure - The Loves We Lost
Gabriel and Dresden - Arcadia
Tonedepth & Sultan - Moments
LSG - Netherworld (Olivier Prime Mix) (this track is also brilliant) |

If you were giving a decent opinion there wouldn't be a problem, but if you really thought the compilation sucked that much total ass, aren't you the fool to not even look at the tracklisting on the back of the CD befor buying it!. Could have saved a few pennies there, unless of course its a rip, in which case you're just sad.
There's 3 types of users on these forums, those that give a balanced real view (good or bad) of something, those that ass lick and those that go out of their way to slag something off over and over again (the opposite of the ass-lickers). Such negative opposites include UVM, sandstorm03 and it seems, the likes of bluey here, who like to call everyone else the ass-lickers, regardless of whether they are, or just people that happen to really like the album.
I haven't heard it yet myself, but will check it out soon :)

I agree man, I like your perspective. That's why I mentioned 2 pages ago about wanting a bipartisan perspective with people that don't hate/love Tiesto. Just an unbiased opinion.
I'm listening to it now and I like what I'm hearing so far. It may not reach the levels of the first two ISOS but it might be better than 3. The mixing is kind of brutal in spots but there's a lot of new songs on here for me. The overall buildup sounds good for me. And I still consider it chilled so far, not just a typical trance mix. |
