I think if you compare it to the previous 3, it is the worst of the series for sure. It doesn't follow that same pattern, no real builds, no climax like tubular said. I prefer the white noise slow intros in the series to the in your face lyrics at the beginning on Disc 1. ISOS 2 and 3 really have a romantic, almost "bedroom" feel. You will not find that on ISOS 4. It is however, consistently consistent, and that is good for Tiesto for sure. Solarstone would have been good somewhere else on the disc, maybe 4th or 7th track. I still like it though.
What's ironic though and may not make sense though is it's a pretty good double cd overall, especially for Tiesto. His track selection seems "all grown up" and there are some tracks on disc 2 that just flat out rock. Even though it's not my fav ISOS (number 3 is), it is still really good, and that shows how good the series is. I can definitely listen to each disc all the way through. There isn't any real cheese on either of the cd's, and definitely not on disc 2. |

I just got ISO4 when it came out in the US on June 21. I am very dissapointed. I think its the worst one of the series. I have ISOS3 and 4 in my car now and I'd still rather listen to 3 even thouigh I've heard it about 200 times. The mixing in 4 isn't very good. I wouldn't buy it if I were you guys. |
But youre not us guys, everyone thinks differently, thats the beauty of DIFFERENCE!!!!11 |

Tunes from Simon & Shaker are really similar, like Freshness/La Nueva. Probably cause they also co-produced La Noche. |

The two that are similar in my opinion are two other phenomenal tracks with guitars, "Flying" by Valentino, with the popular Sultan & The Greek Remix, as well as "808 (Instrumental Mix)" by NuFrequency. |

Finally i listened to this and I have to say it is decent but it shouldn't named ISOS.Looks like Tiesto hadn't enough good tracks too make a ISOS.Cd2 is better.CD1 is boring but Moments,Like A Waterfall and La Noche are good tracks.Arcadia is :wtf:.
Cd2 started good but it didn't keep the ISOS feeling.
the 2 gravity tracks,Only One,Slow it down and BAD are very good tracks.

| After giving it quite a few listens, I must say that I like ISOS 4, both discs. It's not his best compilation, nor does it reach the level of excellence of, say, Magik 5, but, it isn't a disappointment like Nyana. I like the chilled out feel to ISOS 4 and the latino-ish sound the first disc has. To me atleast, ISOS 4 has an original and new sound. Good job Tiesto, keep it up. |
