Tiesto Blows ass.
Fresh Prince
Well controlling masses can be easy with the right strategy.
He comes from the country that is probably one of 2-3 most influental when it comes to big parties and names, and he was hyped as #1 DJ there, and by word of mouth that quickly spread wherever he went. And yes he played well then, well enough to satisfy huge crowds he played for. Once that wore off, they started him doing special events that may not have much to do with trance being underground but huge promotions.
And although he's a big trance star, so to speak, this scene is small in comparison to other genres.
For example where I live non clubbing people never heard of him.
He's a star in Holland and UK, and in trance community.
What I'm trying to say he may be big, but it's all within our community, so I wouldn't worry with him being over the top.
So if you're a Tiesto fan that's cool with me basicly.
I think people should be more tolerating to other people's tastes.

The incredibly simple reason why Tiesto became so popular overnight.

Ok, I had a listen to Benny Benassi, after some of you raved about him. I still prefer Tiesto, although I did like some of his tracks. Tiesto's sets are def. a unique sound and experience. Plz dont go dissing our tastes. All you have to say is you dont like his mixing, dont trash.

I don't think so. Sure, it was his most popular production, but that was in 2000. He didn't play significantly higher profile bookings after it than before. As compared to 2002, when he shot to the top, fast. Two years is awfully long for a delay effect.

Some of those may have been true in the past, but today they are little more than overblown delusions. People fool themselves into believing such superlatives simply because of the hype machine.

Wow, another amazingly educated post from you. Have you ever considered learning more descriptions than 'blows ass' for everything, or better yet, a personality transplant?
