when back in 96 russia left chechens alone and give them independence, chechen army invaded dagestan - one of the border russian regions - the next month.
terrorist organizations fight not only for idea, but also for money. yes, the suicide bombers, of course, blow themselves up only for the idea, but they are just pawns and are brainwashed beyond human capacity. those who sit above them in the hierarchy, have a completely different agenda. they need to create visible results for their sponsors' money, and it would happen sooner or later whether great britain sent soldier to iraq or would be the safe harbor and paradise for world terrorism. |

Stalin ran a socialistic system that was misnamed as communism. |
actually, communism is virtually impossible to implement, its an utopia. |

communism is a very government-controlled political system. as a matter of fact, believe it or not, howerver horrific a historical person stalin was, there was virtuallly no organized crime during his rule, and i doubt there would be any terrorist attacks if he were to rule a country today. given that, his crimes against humanity were many and sparse:( |
Despite the rhetoric the Soviet Union was never communist (in it's pure Marxian form), nor is Cuba, China, North Korea, or any other so called "communist" nation now or in the past. The path to communism requires a period of very strong centralized government, this is true, however, this period should be brief. True communism does not exist until the need for government and the government itself is done away with. A true communist desires no government thus my position that the earlier post calling for one world government would more closely resemble the wants of a fascist then a communist. |

tragic stuff..
I've just bothered myself with reading the past 11 pages of replies and the common feeling amongst us seems to be that of abhorrence. Emotion seems to be playing a big factor in formulating peoples opinions.
Blatant hypocrisy with virtually every 2nd post that I read. We speak against the hate towards the western world, but then outwardly express our hate towards the perpetrators within the next sentence of the post...
Please, leave your emotions at home.. We do not want another 9/11 style response that leads to another situation that harbours more death and destruction. The way to end this vicious cycle of hatred and death is to not become involved with it ourselves while our minds are misguided by raw emotion. |
Erm... they are havign an attack against democracy? yes.
They attack the world that our forefathers created, one of freedom of speech, feelings etc.
Yet your saying we should not let our emotions out,not having freedom of speech to one another, they win if that happens mate, and I strongly suggest you think about what that implies. |

bulle.. it was the 12-15 pilots in the battle of britain that saved your arses ;):p :tongue2
Regardless.. I'm sure that the people of the UK will come out on top. I hear that people that were in the heart of the attacks were generally calm... Obviously with some disorder and confusion, but the British have faced much worse in living memory.. |
Exactly, the British people have dealt with worse things in History, so these religous whoremongerers will be waiting a long time to accomplish any ideology. |

Interesting point of debate, and I disagree.
Communism is extremely idealistic, and it requires total participation by a community. However, the community doesnt need to be the size of China or even Cuba to work. It could be your local neighborhood, a city, or even just 10 families.
These people decide that theyre going to work for each other, using their various skills and abilities to ensure their continued existence. They would make rules and regulations governing their actions together; no one would be the spokesman or rule over the other. |

As for those who attempt to rationalize or explain the actions of such individuals as being tied to Iraq or the historical imperialization of the Arab World or the influence of Western Culture on their societies, the point is severley missed. These pondscums have been at this for a long time in different forms, long before Bush, 9-11, etc.
I don't condone Iraq, but realize realistically that Iraq must be made successful at the end of the day with a stable government that respects its people's wishes as oppose to the terrorist scums that chop off heads, kill innocent Iraqis with car bombs in mosque squares and marketplaces and think they are on a mujahideen mission. These people have no tolerance for you, me or anyone who doesn't accept and share in their blind faith of death and destruction. Please go on trying to explain their perverse actions. |

they hate the west but they have lightbulbs.
they hate the west but they drive cars.
they hate the west but they have televisions.
they hate the west yet without the west they would be nothing. |
