hey sal,

just bought all my gear last year. usually if you go to a sports store, they have packages made up. since you're going to be using your equipment for the long term, i would not shortchange myself and get the cheap stuff
- burton: a bit expensive, their low-end models of boots/boards are overpriced (borrowing on the namebrand)
- boots: you def want to spend money on good boots that fit well, since these will make your boarding comfortable or not. i used to ski 20yrs, and always had problems with bruised/bleeding ankles (like skates you want them as tight as possible). but just bought some K2 boots, boarded 5 times and they still feel like slippers
- overall i spent about $500 for boots/board/bindings, and am satisfied

i'm gonna be in the city for new years so i can definitely do the boarding trip..! i have an RSX but i'm 99% sure i can fit 4 people plus the boards in my hatch back with no problems--- if not then i'm 100% sure i can fit 3 people plus the boards in my car with no problems (folding seats)

alright, my plans got solidified right now as I got a ride to camelback, however, those who do plan on attending as well and have vehicles can we coordinate in groups?

Matt Dani Sal in a car?

Any other bidders? Frost?Bliss?

Gabe(elipse) do you want to meet us there?

As of right now, I'm aiming to meet everyone at the mountain so I guess individual coordination works best with the ultimate ending goal of ripping down a mountain! WEEEEE

So let's see who's down to play....

i have to call this one out, especially if i wanna have a non sniffly NYE... but jan 1st boarding still sounds like music to my ears!

is anyone else interested?

GABE(ellipse) should meet us there since he lives real close to camelback.
