Watched all of speed skating, alpine skiing, ski jumps, and snowboarding... SICK!!
The best moment in alpine was Deneriaz, the LAST ONE racing who NO ONE was expecting, beating Walchhoffer by .72 secs.. that's A LOT OF TIME! And Bode Miller, what are you doing man, he just slowed down in the last 5 seconds; I think he got too confident and neglected to bend at the last turn, slowing him down... I think he might have had 3rd if not for that..
White was amazing as always, do you see how much air he gets? That kid FLIES! All the other boarders can do the tricks he does, pretty much, but he just gets so much air, and grabs the board every time, he just knows what the judges award for and he does it. Kass was good, Felt bad for Aguirre, he was lookin great but just let it go.
I read about Ohno's stumble in the speed skating on the net before I watched, so I was waitin for it.. really too bad, what an amazing skater, so agile. It's a beautiful sport to watch in general, I think it might have been the event I enjoyed watching most today. The movement of the body, those long strides, how they look like they're moving in slow motion the first few laps, then speed up and then just sprint it out.. beautiful sport. So is the ski jumping... people soaring through the air, they all had gorgeous technique, it was mostly just a question of who had the best technique to make his body fly further.. |

What a great day! I'm so happy I got to ride with both of you. Both of you are equally sick boarders! Also soo happy Sal came along, but where the hell did you go? Anyways, it was a great day...started out even better!
Well me and some of my friends woke up at 5:45am but ran into some errands before heading out west on 80. Was wishing to get there at 830am-ish, didn't end up getting there till about 9:30 with a semi-full lot. We parked the car, had our tunes pumping with the trunk open (Sasha @ Lush Orlando Part 1) and I'm putting my boots on and I hear some girl say "hey they're playing..." I look up and I see Jon and Alisa walking away, I'm like yo what's up...oh how EDM connects us!
Jon and Alisa both ride really well for first season riders. Sal I only got to see maybe 30secs of and then he was lost in the mass (where the hell were you?). I'm very happy we all made it to the mountain, we need to coordinate a larger group to go together.
My friends and I ended up riding only until 1:30-2pm~ish, the driver wasn't feelin that great after he took a spill on some jumps. I myself ate a few on the boxes. First was a cab grind on the large box, ended up eating it ass first coming off the box, the next hit on that line was an easy frontside grind and that one i ate face/shoulder first which pretty much ended my day. Also, the lines got super long around noon which was another reason why we wanted to leave!
Anyways, I had an awesome time riding with Jon,Alisa, and Sal we should do it again. I'll still keep on top of the March 5th as I've only collected a few names. I'd like to go out there with everyone (including matt mcb, arny, taub, dani and ze germans, sal, ryan and teh soap, basically everyone).
Jon/Alisa - also, we spoke about Stratton, I'm in for WMC weekend. While these punks are southbeaching it, we can snowboard it. The New WMC Live @ Stratton feat Frost, Bliss, and Kid Nyce! Be there or be...scared |

No. If I had a car, I'd probably do it once in awhile. Sometimes you just want to ski at your own pace and groups aren't really conducive to that |
