If I can't go this Sunday, I'm strapping my board on and boarding down a hill of couch cushions in my living room. :(

This weekend looks like its not gonna be good for snowboarding. BTW anyone know where I can get my board waxed in the city?
kid nyce
if you bought it at princeton or paragon they'll do it for free w/reciept

and you shouldnt need to wax your board until the season is over, you can do it yourself too i can show ya

all you need is a hot iron wax, a scraper, and an edge tool

I think the places Brian said aren't that bad for waxing if you have to pay. I think the guy at Princeton (Broadway and 21st) said $20, but he did say it's a 5 day turn-around, so I don't know if you could get it back by this weekend. I should have taken my skis in on Monday because I'm really losing speed on the flats.

You can get it done at the mountain, too, I just don't know how long it'll take them.

Supposed to be 70 on sunday i really doubt any skiing is going on unless we drive way north.

???? Where did you see that. weather.com says NYC has a high of 43 on Sunday and Tannersville is a high of 37.

also blades n boards do waxing but i really really think you dont need to do it frost, your board is basically brand new....

i've had mine about a year and i've only done a scrub and wax not even a hot layer yet

the warmer the better, you can still ride the base if its warm...

keep in mind altitude plays a big part to the base on the mountain. it'll slush up and give you some powder like riding. the main danger about riding mountains in warm weather is when the SUN hits the SNOW. That's what causes the snow to melt, not the temperature in the air because that varies by sea-level. thats why I say rain here is snow there (atleast in some cases) but not when there is a warm front.

The warm front is suppose to move through to friday and it's shaping up with a really cold breezy back side from canada. i mean if it's not raining, i'll be out on the mountain.
