Instead of a TA Picnic or a TA Meetup at a club or a TA Dinner, it'll be a TA MOUNTAIN INVASION! weeeeee

I ski, but I'll agree that EDM and skiing go really well together. ;)

You skiied yesterday??!?!! Brian must not have seen you cause I was BITCHED OUT for even SUGGESTING bringing my skis on one of these trips :stongue: "Boards only" says the great boardman ;)
Soooo we're planning for Sunday, not Saturday? I lined up a job interview but I guess I can move it if everyone is going, I don't wanna miss out on the fun. |

I skiied yesterday, and will be skiing in the future, too.
Brian didn't see me because he bitched out and came home because he said it was too crowded. I think he just found out I was going and wanted a chance to take barosoap out to dinnner instead. :eek: |

i didn't bitch you out, i just said NO SKIING BOARDS ONLY! lols I mean you already made the leap to "trying" to board, might as well keep at it. Usually those who start skiing don't want to try boarding because it is aggrevating to learn something new all over again when they could ski perfectly fine (right ryan?)

oh nose! he found me out, i thought my evil plan was going to work! Guess Not! BTW According to the soap, you're taking me out to dinner now ryan, it can be romantic you, me, and some beer and wings! lols as for bitching out, i'll keep my reply on reserve and we'll deal with this on the mountain. just think if it wasn't for me, you'd be still waiting on line to get your lift tickets at mt creek so take it as a sacrifice for the group. I could of easily not called dani and let you guys go to mt creek while i escaped home to watch the giants get their asses handed to them and then the chance to "take barosoap out to dinner" if that indeed is what I was planning on doing. cuz you know me...the "great boardman" and his master plans.
on a serious note, sunday bitches its on like donkey kong (as andy "ho-lang" azn puts it)

edit - if my memory serves me correct, wasn't "choobak" a big contributor to this thread, which so-happenly has fallen off from participating in these recent events? owait - is he still on vacation? I heard he was riding out west or something of that matter |

Very true. I picked up skiing really quickly, but I've seen few pick up boarding that quickly.

Also, we did go to Mountain Creek yesterday because we thought we could ski for free because Jesse's brother works the lift there. We ended up buying twilight tickets because we wanted explore more and not be confined to the high speed lift.
The crowd wasn't that bad, particularly where Chris and I were. We went into the center, not the west mountain for a bit and it was really empty, especially later. The west mountain was a bit crowded, because it's where all of the new skiiers/boarders were. I admit, I get frustrated when it's crowded, because I ski pretty fast and I hate having to worry about killing little kids in a collision because they do something stupid like suddenly cut right across the slope. That's one of the reasons I like skiing the twilight time, as it's usually less crowded because people leave early. |

Haven't skied in a few years, so my return to the slopes should be comical, but we'll see about Sunday since I have work Monday.

sad to accept but with age comes wisdom and with wisdom you end up snowboarding and bustin your ass because you was too comfortable thinking you was ok while being high! so yea that circles back to feeling old because the next day, everything hurts! |
