SO MUCH FUN TODAY!! is everyone dead like I am? I'm freakin exhausted cause I gave it my all today!!! :D
We kicked Camelback's ass... hope to do it again soon, so much fun ridin with you guys. Brian, thanks for organizing and riding so fast that I had to give it 150%, and you made me go in the "tunnel" and on the bump too, I'll be doin that more often now :p

And Matt, didn't really get to see you board.. next time maybe we can play catch up lol
I got boots on the way home, John convinced me to get my own and not wait till next season :D my first piece of snowboarding equipment!
Salomon Ivy in that tan/white color.. they're so comfortable, Salomon makes some of the best stuff out there... the inside has fake fur on the top (weird but true and soft). I want a light-colored board and tan/white bindings to match... and eventually a red and beige outfit, probably not for a while.

what a great time! First I want to thank Matt for the ride...felt bad he had to drive while listening to my snoring and staying awake driving at the same time! lol...
had a great time on the mountain with everyone, was great to sit there in the cafeteria shooting the but next time less sitting and eating and more riding please! lol
matt is clearly a pro-boarder so everyone better watch out!
sal i got to see ride for more than 5 minutes, keep it up its totally worth it!
bliss yea i made you go into the tunnel but it looks like you handled it just fine....oh yea she's a "pro boarder" as well LOL
jon what can i say? he followed us in the tunnel too, overall totally impressed you are taking on small jumps now

it was a great day at camel back!!! the temps were decent, and the sun was very nice, not to many days here on the east coast with that kind of forecast :tongue2
it was great to meet everyone there "even the non ta's :toothless " jon no worries, the next time we will definitely ride some more, alisa sick boots :D , sal nice to meet you, along with lisa, sasha, and sal's gf "sorry i forgot her name" can't wait to next time, maybe st. patricks weekend :gsmile: |

TO THE TOP!
For all you NON-WMCerz, I'm planning on taking a trip to vermont, one day trip with bus ride there and back via Emilios Ski Shop.
When - March 25th
Where - Okemo, VT
Cost - $77
Includes - lift ticket and bus ride there and back =)
I believe you need a bag for your equipment which gets stowed below the bus. Also, the bus leaves VT promptly at 4:15pm and will leave you behind if you are not there (dont want to get stuck in VT so head to the designated bus area early and rest)
The bus usually gets to VT at like 8-9am so you'll have plenty of time to ride up until 3-4pm~ish.

You have to register and purchase your tickets online or instore. Also, you have to be at the the designated locations the day of leaving, there are locations in the city and in brooklyn.
Not sure if anyone is interested, let me know if you are or post in this thread....time to make one more run at it....can't get enough...seriously!
ps-I haven't purchased tickets yet but I'm gauging interest and if we can get a nice size I'll work something out with Emilios where we can get a list going and stuff. LMK! |

Brian sounds nice, we'll think about it... damn cheap for tix + transport.. and you can sleep on the way there! lol
By the way my baby came today and she is beautiful :D
but it feels huge! 157! I don't know how I'm gonna control that thing, it looks huge but probably isn't more than 1-2 inches bigger than anything I've ridden yet...
btw turns out that board I bought on ebay is from Emilios! lol.. so I had to pay sales tax on it, gah, foiled! but still great price!! :crazy: |

Brian, I think a trip to Okemo like that is a little too hectic for me lol... when does the bus leave, 4am?
If we were to go to Stratton early Sat morning and stay one night and leave Sun after boarding, the website says ski & stay packages start at $79 for off-mountain properties. I'd totally be down for the trip if we could get the $79 somewhere..
