picture time!
this was taken last year at silverton in colorado. it's basically a lift serviced backcountry ski area. they have one rickety old lift and you go up in groups of 6 with a guide. we were lucky enough to go after a dump of about 3 to 4 feet of powder... i would have given my left nut to ski that virgin powder under the lift but the guides said it was an avalanche zone... so much snow...

i wanna go snowboarding again!!! i can't board for the life of me but at least i can provide some decent entertainment for the surrounding skiiers, especially the lil bastid 9 year olds :whip: :p |

Where I would REALLY love to go is Mont Tremblant + Mont St. Anne near Montreal though... |

midweek is tough for me...if it was a weekend trip then i'd go. HOLY I NEED TO FEEL THAT FEELING, BENDING YOUR KNEES RIPPING THROUGH THE POWDER WITH A STEEP DROP AHEAD OF YOU JUST CARVING THE OUT OF THE SNOW...

I've had that feeling since the summer....trust me i have...
i have snowboard videos which have been played out soo many times its not even funny....thats just to get me amped before i head out....
