ya I am not even a huge fan of Sven but it would have been cool to check it out for sure. Wish I could have arrived on the 29th instead of 30th.. also would have been able to play a gig too!
:)

You would have played a gig at the same club Sven was playing at?

The important question is: if Sven Vath comes to town and you are here, will you go and see him?

MT

PS: Don't know if I ever mentioned this, but I love your support for Nastic. Do you think he's gonna come anytime soon or is he stricly based in Europe for now?

haha not quite, same city, same night, different place! It was going to be at some café that does a weekly broadcast on livesets, would have been fun though I am sure! I would have gone to see Vath at some point, he played 4 hours.

If he came to town I would go see him, but that's more to do with lack of techno bookings.. I have certainly stayed home in the past when Vath played. I remember the night he and richie were hammered in the booth. :tongue2

As for Nastic.. I have been impressed with this guy for a few years now.. and 2005 was a great year for him production wise as well! He played a lot of the big european festivals. He has been booked in South America at least a few times now, but I think it is unlikely we will see him in these parts anytime soon. Stranger things have happened though!

DJ Rush favourites Pet Duo have a tribute on livesets.com tomorrow! The only married couple techno dj duo I know of! :)

I like their stuff but usually in small doses.
haaaaard.

This week's tribute will be a special about Brazilian hardtechno couple Pet Duo

Fans of PET Duo have known, for a long time, of the couple's love and dedication to techno, and have witnessed their sets, filled with energy, great technique, and a constant quest for innovation.
Known for their four-deck sets, the couple spends their time between Europe and Brazil, playing in the best clubs, parties, and festivals around the world.
Their influences are broad: from EBM to hip hop, from rock, to industrial, to funk, always incorporating these genres in their preferred style, techno.
