Reminds me of Tiesto in Concert LA where, the theme was supposed to be "Around The World" with a diffferent region every hour or so, yet none of the visualization images had anything to do with the respective region, and neither did any of the tracks. :wtf: It was like...what the hell is this a joke? |
well he did that in tiesto in concert la, but he did it all in a matter of a minute. they had flags of different countries up in the background. im glad he didnt do that 'around the world' cause not only he would ruin his set, but he would ruin the region hes dedicating his music for.
but youre right, i remember when i played some songs after TIC LA, people went like 'oh, thats the tiesto song man, its badass'. i cant believe how much i tried to convince people that marcel woods -advanced wasnt a tiesto song. and i cant believe how many times i tried to explain people the definition of mix and remix.
to this type of people, the songs played in TIC LA was either a tiesto song or blade song (new order - confusion) |

Haha yeah...its pretty sad.
Oh well...hopefully, like me, they find TA, read read read and realize that theres a whole lot more to electronic music than Tiesto. |

well not everyone is committed to the music. they are committed to the artist.
in a way you cant blame them though. if the music is not their priority then they pick one guy and stick with him. but i dont know why they kiss his ass so much. maybe it has to do with trance being 'underground' and tiesto being 'pimp of underground'.
tiesto knew what kind of people will show up at his concert, so he knew how to make the crowd be obsessed by him: by playing the blade song. so he actually did something right, he read the crowd :) |

^ This guy likes armin so that says it all.
There is tons of great tracks in this cd than just two man. Actually listen to it.
But yeah the transition is brutal in between some mixes.
You would at least think before they release this they touch up some of it? Jesus LOL

| Whats up... new to the boards. I recently heard ISOS5 and to be honest most of the tracks are great if you love progressive more mellowish tracks with lots or lyrics. However the mixing leaves a lot to be desired... :eyes: so get drunk get crunked for this one to not mind the tedious in between tracks. |
