You know the funny part is ... 99% of you all will say Tiesto SUCKS .. but already found a way to get your hands on his CD. Explain to me if you think tiesto has lost his touch after ISOS4, why do you even bother downloading this music? If you hate him soo much why waste your bandwidth ... BUT ... if you do it cuz your interested, then shutup, admit it you still like tiesto. Forget the trashing talking cuz thats old fashion now.
ALSO ...
If your a big name dj like tiesto and know you can get away with releasing a halfass mix and still make money ... trust me you would do it ...
I bet at work, if you can get away with doing it half ass you would. SO its the same thing Tiesto knows he can get away with it ... |

i like tiesto, but dont love him.
remember this isnt just a job or a hobby, this is passion. money and fame are great but additional. tiesto is taking over the advantages hes getting though but thats his business. tiesto says 'music is my passion'.
im not downloading it cause tiestos name is on it, im downloading it because of the tracks. im also downloading it because of the reputation he built on the name ISOS and i wanted to hear exactly what i heard.
i am only complaining at the way he puts the songs together. the transition between track 9 and 10 in CD1 is beautiful i think. plus most of the songs are just great and i will say that he did a great job at it.
my issue is not toward tiesto, but the people who are just obsessed with him with no real reasons behind it. its ok if you like tiesto, but damn the cockiness.
to put the story to an end, i was listening to the CD in the car and i was enjoying every bit of it, but its just sad the way he transitions the songs. it doesnt take much effort to do that and he didnt do it right on something that is being published nationwide. isnt that the part of the job of being a dj? remember, its his passion. |

You're confusing hatred with a deep frustration of knowing:
1. Tiesto can do better
2. All the "real" haters are going to have more ammunition for their digs at him from this sloppy release
3. Another nail in the coffin of a series that really deserves better
The release of a tracklist for this event i was very openly excited for the new CD... but upon hearing it - even a fan of Tiesto cannot be too happy with what he has done.
So before you give your 99% ball comments maybe work out there is two types of negativity in this thread, frustrated fans are present here as well as lurkers.

don't say CRAP about his mixing skills..
and 2 make it clear!!
Was a moment of Tijs to mix ISOS V with Ableton ..
This kind of series didn't deserve it..
Leave Ableton for Armin & ASOT..
anyway i am pretty dissapointed with you man..
One more producer/dj/remixer who turns to be negative with the dutch master.. & one more time i start to think how hard is to be & stay in the music throne! (Too many bad comments, jealousy & hate from other artists - A TRUE TOTAL WAR) :mad: |

No, one more normal person who actually cares about good mixing (because for a jock like tiesto, mixing is un excusable...#1 DJ in the world my ass)
The fact that he managed to up the mixing using ABLETON LIVE (which so many people on this forum bash for "pressing play and mixing for you") is just a joke... |
