| I love how when I go party sober and I meet some new people, they ask me if I'm on anything(which is okay), but when I say No they're like "WHY NOT?" :conf: |

Absolutely agree! And this is totally on topic because, for me, I have trouble pulling all nighters without drugs and I've pretty much given up on them except for fav djs, but lately I've been hitting CoZo on Sunday mornings. I have a good nights sleep and show up at about 8a.m. No greasing the bouncer to bypass the line cuz there is no line at that point.
Now I've got loads of energy cuz I just woke up. The music can NOT be beat and I find the crowd alot better than at the Guv. Everybody is there to dance, not pick up. Anyhow, I just find this alot easier on my system cuz I'm not fighting to stay awake. It also leaves my sleep patterns intact. I'm not saying I'm always sober when I'm there, but it takes alot less to keep me going.

Everybody is there to dance? At the zone? Is that what you just said? |

ok u'll think i'm nuts for this but Comfort Zone is badass! if you honestly go out to places for good music, then you can;'t complain about zone. true its grimey and full of drugs. but if ur not into that and ur all about music, zone is the place to be. Nathan/ Joe and Fab and Joee Cons at Zone are unbelieveable. Sometimes when guv sucks and the music isn't right at a certain club on saturday night, i look forward to the beats at CZ. its just awesome aside form the sketchiness |
Oh i'm not making a jab at the Comfort Zone... i've heard the stories of the amazing music played here... but thats what the whole point.. going for the amazing music.. not as another place to do drugs..which is where the whole drug abuse comes in.. its totally fine to go to the Zone to hear some mid-day beats.. but i mean if you just spent a night at the Guv, or the docks or any of the all night bars in TO... there is no reason to go to the Comfort Zone just as an excuse to keep the 'party' going...
ppl doing things like that on a regular basis def have a drug problem..
i mean i tihnk its safe to say that everyone here loves music.. its a very important part of their lives.. but if some ppl keep up this kind drug use.. who knows.. they may not have a life to enjoy the music in

oops I posted this in the wrong thread first. It goes here LOL (stupid wine)
I wonder if anybody reading this thread is taking their alcohol consumption into consideration as well. It's just as much a drug, no? |

It is, and it isn't. As I mentioned, on the issue of safety, when you drink 10 shots of jager you know exactly what is going in your body. it is more of a gamble with drugs, meaning when you consistently abuse them, your risk is much greater than when you are abusing alcohol just because every pill is different. |

haha, everyone IS there to dance; or let the drugs wear off/kick in. People have this misconception that the crowd at the Zone is somehow true to the music cause everyone is going off. Yea...obviously... they're all ED out of their minds. That said, the vibe is the best in the city there, and so is the music. |

Ya, I hear that. I brought it up because there are people who have the same problem with alcohol that others have with drugs. They cant go out without going out and getting competely hammered. I know I've done it on more than one occasion.
edit: lkd, I put that in there on purpose, one of those bad joke things spitty was talkin about ;) |

If you are against drugs, then shouldnt you also be against alcohol, smoking & obesity?
Now, drugs might be more dangerous.. but the 3 mentioned kill more people on average then drug related deaths could ever match. |

Aren't you contradiciting yourself in your post? If everyone there is ed out of their mind, their dancing is a direct result of that.
P.S. I never said anything about the vibe or music at the zone. |

Especially when you consider how taboo it is to menton to someone that they're jeopardizing their health with their weight. |
