But why is your TA name 1 letter away from a drug?? :nervous: |
thanks, it actually is what you think it is, just in russian
it was my real life nickname back int eh day because of my real name but it has nothing to do with the actual drug because i dont like/do drugs
I feel very sorry for people that do it because if you have to do it to enjoy the music (or for any other stupid reason/excuse that you will make up here, i dont care what it is) you're not a real tranceaddict.
The best way is to stay away from people like that and you will never get sucked into this . |

So you would base your judgement on a person on 1 negative quality that they have? What if 20 years down the line, your kids were to pick up the habit - Would you tell them to of?
People who get ed up on drugs are a little more complicated than just being at parties for the sake of being high. Those who abuse drugs could be using them as an excuse to escape their personal problems such as broken families/relationships , monetary issues, academic problems etc and while the root cause for reaching this stage could be attributed to being emotionally weak, that doesn't mean that society should wash their hands of them. Some of the nicest and most genuine people i have met in college have had issues with substances and in all of them i have seen that it has been personal problems that drove them to that stage. The only problem is that finding the solution is really hard because it differs from person to person. |
yes! thank you!
i'm also certainly no angel, however, when really hit the fan i knew where to find my sense of self-preservation. no matter how much agony it was to 'let go' of the 'scene' by just packing my bags and leaving the city to another country (and this feeling went on for months afterwards), i just knew if i don't pull the plug now i will go under.
... drugs are definitely a double-edged sword. you just need to know how to use them IF you're going to use them. you have to be smart about it. for ME, personally, i've seen the good & the bad but it has also taught me to change my outlook on life and how to strive to live a life to the fullest without any so-called 'neuroses'. i've finally found my inner peace - without drugs & but that is not to say that i do not still enjoy the occasional :D ... to know that i can if i want to ... i would never want to have to deny myself that! ;)

Then what about alcohol?
You are also saying you pretty much dont like 80% of the people that go to trance clubs.. because they do drugs?
Or you just stay away from them? |
