EXACTLY. I want to be in that category.

Tarantino is a sell out. Kill Bill sucked compared to Pulp Fiction and Resevoir Dogs.

the guy is a italian mafia guy, he knows what real european coffee is, not like american crap coffee...
even if the coffee was good, he wanted to show how he has the power to puke out anything he wants even if its good.
i think lynch wanted to rely to the actress choice, like he meant, even if other actress are good, it he doesnt like it that way, he pukes it that way. ahaha
i think it didnt mean anything to the mystery of the film tho...

Id have to see the movies again to tell you how the scene fits in the whole story, but why I said it was one of my favorites is because of the mood it sets, this sense of not knowing who these people are, making you uncomfortable+anxious and I love the way Dan Hedaya played his little part in it. His success (or lack of) in Hollywood fits in with who he plays, another reason why you might of thought of it as Bmovie...you have to see the whole film in order to understand it, malek, please! :p

It's just a great scene because while the main concern should be that the director is getting royaly f*ckd over by every one in the room, the producer is just ting in his pants hoping that this time this mysterious guy (who ever he is) likes is coffee.

But again, it doesn't matter. Either you like it, or not.

Also it IS a B movie cause it was not intended to be a movie. It was suppose to be a 2 parts TV special. They made a movie out of it

Uff walking on thin ice there my friend hahahaha

Tarantino made Kill Bill for himself first, a movie (and he said this) that characters from PF and RD like Jules and Mr. Pink would watch in their free time. Kill Bill exists in the movies-within-a-movie universe. Tarantino is anything but a sell out I think. You should read or listen to his interviews, he is the nerd among nerds when it comes to movies and Kill Bill is a genius movie (if you were ever into Japanese Samurai films, Spaghetti Westerns, Anime etc. : like me :D) - having spaghetti western music play over an anime sequence is GENIUS.

Yea I always forget this, its true, but for me the whole Bmovie feel you have for most of the film (becuase it goes away at the end!!!) ties so great with the Hollywood theme/storyline!

I have to watch this film TONIGHT!!

Foxforce 5. Hhehehehee.

Pulp Fiction + Resevoir Dogs = golden

Kill Bill = Hollywood mindless action...

It wasn't anything near the intellectual value of Resevoir or Pulp Fiction. It wasn't even close to Jackie Brown. lol. Tarantino is known as a jerk in the business anyway, haven't you ever read about his ongoing feud with Roger Avary, the dude who came up with the original idea for Pulp?

Tarantino is, to me, the dirty American redneck of cinema. He's loud and boisterous.

"So there we are... me and Mira Sorvino... kissing under the eiffle tower..."

PFFFFTTTTT

/flames shield on

I love Tarantino, don't get me wrong. I think Resevoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction are brilliant... I just think his films and their following got to his head and inflated his ego well beyond safe levels.

You know who we're totally ignoring? James Cameron. Canadian. Briliant. Titanic. True Lies. Terminator. Aliens. I am so proud to be from the same country.

Marcus007
BUT BY GOD PULP FICTION IS SO DAMN BRILLIANT!!!!!!!

I really hope his next film is witty and smart like Pulp. :(
